Various entries 1920 to 1925 

Friday-July 16, 1920

Steamer Fallie towed the Steamer Enterprise from the Ways. Both boats are sold and are going to Mexico to tow oil. I hate to see them passing out this way, they were both lost in the Gulf.

January 15, 1921 strike on at the Ways, they are asked to take a reduction of 17 1/2%, the old rate of $6.60. August 27, 1920

November 16, 1921, wages reduced to 57 1/2 cents per for carpenters and caulkers-30 cents for laborers, they were getting $1.00 per hour.

High water December 25, 1921- 33 ft. 8 in., floated the Steamer Swan off the Ways and the Steamer National on the second yard, cylinder timbers covered.

Wages advanced to $6.60 Saturday September 23, 1922 again on May 21, 1923 to $7.00.

Closed down at the Ways July 23, 1924 and again April 1924.

Friday March 20, 1925 - Steamer Ranger towed the Old Tom Dodsworth away. Raymond Horner, March 23, 1925 and then the Boaz. This was our last look at these boats, they were good ones and I'm sorry to see them passing out, they seem like old Friends.
