| Misc. Notes |
| Ralph was given as good school advantages as were possible at the time. He learned the tanning business, not following it, however, as agriculture was more congenial. In 1819 he married Margaret Banghart, daughter of Andrew and Mary (Park) Banghart, both of New Jersey of Holland parentage, who settled in the States after the Revolutionary war. Ralph settled on a 200 acre farm on Concession 5, London Twp. He died in the city of London, Ontario, June 1873. He upheld the highest standards of living. Mrs. Morden lived to be 89 years old. She died 1891 at the home of her son Andrew. Of their children, the following grew to maturity: Durham, Parks, Andrew, Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy Ellen. |
