This is the last will and Testament
of
me Robert Colville Thompson of the Township
of Hamilton in the County of Northumberland.
In the first place I give and
bequeath to my dear wife Christianna the
Intrest of all Mortgages and Money which may
belong to me at my death, Subject to the
payment of my just debts funeral and
Testamentary expenses.
I do also will order and
direct that after the decease of my said wife
Christianna my executors and Trustees herein-
after named, shall divide all money belonging
to me equally among my sons and daughters
so that the children of my deceased sons or
daughters shall receive the same share or
portion that their father or mother would
receive if living. My sons and daughters at
present living being Robert, William,
Alexander, John, James, and Christianna Hog
Wife of Hendry Hog and Agnes Hog wife of
Robert Hog and Ann Crossen wife of Jackson
Crossen, and my deceased daughter Ellen McLeod
Wife of John McLeod.
I also nominate constitute
and appoint Archibald Ainslie and James Thompson
in the said Township of Hamilton the executors
and Trustees of this my last will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and Seal at Coldsprings this
twinty first day of June in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and Seventy seven.
