    Hi Lanette & John,

I was passing through Beloit WI last week and snapped pictures of my Carpenter relatives' graves at Oakwood Cemetery. I just happened to run across the Grovesteen's plot nearby and took pictures of that too, as well as noting down the transcriptions. All descended from Abraham H. Grovesteen b. 1807. If you're interested, let me know.

Hi, John. This is the best photo of the Grovesteen plot in Beloit. There’s a similar photo in dimmer light, not attached. I didn’t take photos of the smaller stones.

I took notes on the inscriptions:

    GROVESTEEN
    A.H. & A.M. GROVESTEEN
1843-1844 [don’t understand this, probably my mistake]
    Mollie Jean dau og G.M. & A.G. Grovesteen 1909
