     Thomas Jefferson Thompson was born on 24 July 1832 at Macoupin County, Illinois.2 He was the son of John Thompson and Hannah Landrith.1 Thomas Jefferson Thompson settled, in 1853, at Wapello County, Iowa.2 He married Nancy Ketteman, daughter of Elias Ketteman and Lydia Redman, in 1853.3 Thomas Jefferson Thompson died on 8 June 1911 at Hedrick, Keokuk County, Iowa, at age 78.4 He was buried at McCormick Cemetery, Highland Center, Wapello County, Iowa.4
