    Dr. James K. Buck II, 36, 1008 Windridge, Kingsport, died Monday, March 1, 1999, at his residence after a brief illness.
    Dr. Buck was a native of Carter County and a son of Jim and Marie Webb Buck, Johnson City. He was a 1981 graduate of Elizabethton High School and a 1984 graduate of Milligan College. He attended the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, Memphis, and graduated in 1989. Dr. Buck completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Bowman Gray Medical Center, Winston-Salem, and completed his Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.
    Dr. Buck was a Board Certified Allergist and had been in private practice in Kingsport. He was a member of the Colonial Heights Christian Church.
    Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Marsha McNabb Buck; two sons, Kyle and Camerson Buck, of the home; a brother and sister-in-law, Devon and Jennifer Buck, Elizabethton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Amy and James Motte and Misty Buck, all of Johnson City; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Beulah Buck, Elizabethton; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; his father-in-law, Kyle McNabb, Erwin; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jeff and Susan McNabb, Greeneville.
    Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

    BUCK -- Funeral services for Dr. James K. Buck II, 36, 1008 Windridge, Kingsport, who died Monday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Heights Christian Church with Mr. Richard A. Carpenter and Mr. Jeff Whitlock, ministers, officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the East Lawn Cemetery, Kingsport. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, and also at the East Lawn Cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, will be Dr. Gary Bush, Dr. Pat Riggins, Dr. Doug Strickland, Dr. Mike Bookout, Dr. Ed Griffin, Greg Campbell, Bobby Campbell and Gene Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Charles J. Wells, Dr. Freddie Martin, Homer Nave, Keith Nave, Diana Osborne and Skip Varvel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Dr. Buck will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
