     Kathleen A. Buck was born on 5 August 1947 at Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Rufus Buck Jr. and Norma Alberta Patterson.1 As of 3 March 1967,her married name was Rivet. Kathleen A. Buck died on 14 June 2002 at Battle Creek Health System, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan, at age 54.1 She was buried on 17 June 2002 at Newbre Cemetery, Battle Creek, Calhoun County, Michigan.1

    Kathleen A. Rivet, 54, of Battle Creek, died Friday, June 14, 2002, at Battle Creek Health System. She was born August 5, 1947, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Daniel and Norma (Patterson) Buck. Kathleen graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1965, where she sang in the Acapella Choir. She married Alan P. Rivet, March 3, 1967, he survives. Kathleen was a medical biller in the office of Dr. Haffendon prior to suffering a stroke in 1995.. She also worked in Dr. Mullenmeister's office.
    She is also survived by a daughter, [Living individual] Fox, grand children, [ 2 Living individuals] Fox, her mother, [Living individual] Buck, sister, [Living individual] Clark, brother, [Living individual] Buck.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel in 1989.
    Kathleen attended St. Philip Catholic Church. She enjoyed league bowling at M-66 Bowl and for many years was League Secretary for her daughter's youth bowling leagues. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and was a PTA Member at Harper Creek Schools. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to dance. Kathleen loved music, especially Elvis, country music and music of the 50's and 60's. she also enjoyed following the Hot Air Balloon Championships.
    Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. today at Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
    Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home with Rev. [Living individual] Fischer officiating.
    Interment in Newbre Cemetery.
    Memorials to American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
