   Hazel M. Buck, 85, of Rockwood, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012, in The Bridge at Rockwood.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Pless W. Buck Sr.; several brothers and sisters; her parents, Will and Fannie Hickey; and an infant son.
   Survivors include a son, Pless W. Buck Jr. and wife Teresa, Rockwood; two grandsons, Jeremy Buck, Knoxville, Corey Buck, fiance Brandi Brown and daughter Danica, Kingston; several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral service was at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in Evans Mortuary chapel, Rockwood, with the Rev. Brian Hines officiating. Burial was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Glen Alice Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in Evans Mortuary.

   One Killed, Two Hurt in Morgan Co. Crash - Car Reported To Have Gone Out Of Control On Curve - One man was killed and two others injured five miles north of Wartburg Monday night. Pless Buck, 33, died a few minutes after reaching the Harriman Hospital, where he was taken following the accident. James Cooper, 50, driver of the other car, and Vester Pass were injured. The crash occurred on Highway 27 about five miles north of Wartburg. Buck was driving south and Cooper driving north. Dixie York, State Patrolman, who investigated, said Buck was making a curve when he lost control of the car he was driving and smashed into the Cooper car.
