Her father William Garrett was in the Civil War and was injured and lost his mind. He owned a plantatiion I don't know where.
Delilah had 2 brothers Henry and John Garrett

William Garrett's wife was Elizabeth and they called them Billy and Lizzy.

Hope some of this will be helpful to you.

I think I need to go play in the street. I didn't notice that in the census either.

My son talked to our neighbor today. His g grandmother was James Pery Buck's sister her name was Amanda
I think they called her Mandy. Her grandaughter was one of my clients at one time and she told me her grandmother
was a Buck. I wasn't intrested in genealogy then so I didn't think anything about it until the other day when mom was
here and told me that. Mandy was married to an Eldridge he was a very mean man (so his grandaughter told me)
She said he spooked a horse she was rideing, the horse threw her and she was crippled the rest of her life.
The neighbor said his nephew was doing genealogy and he would get some information for me.

Zelma told me her brother George got all of her Father and Mother's things when they died and won't let them even see
them. He might talk to you If you want to call him. His nephew told me that he knew Dovie Stanton.
His number is 931-498-2259 don't tell him I gave you the # if you call.

My eyes are about crossed from looking at this computer.

Will forward information as I get it.
Thanks so much for the new information. It was very helpful but it is confusing.

    Brenda.
