   Luella Mootz, 74, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at her home in Roeland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Skradski Funeral Home, 340 N. 6th, Kansas City, Kansas 66101. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Luella was born February 13, 1936 to Alvic and Lucetta Buck in Hamilton, MO. She graduated from Holy Family Grade School and Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, KS. Luella worked many years as a server along with raising five wonderful children. A son, Glenn, preceded Luella in death in 2006. She is survived by her husband, Martin L. (Marty) Moots, of the home; sons, Martin L. Mootz II, of St. Louis, MO, and David A. Mootz, of Roeland Park, KS; daughters, Bonnie L. Thatcher of Raytown, MO, and Jean M. Vaughn, of Roeland Park, KS; ten grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; brother, Russell D. Buck.
