Bid voor de Ziel van Zaliger den WelEdelen Heer  JEAN  CHARLES  DE FRANCE,  Weduwnaar van Mejuffrouw MARIA  CATHARINA  HELENA  GEELKENS. Geboren te MAASTRICHT, den 1 April 1810 en overleden te ZWOLLE, den 21 Januari 1894, na het ontvangen van de HH. Sacramenten der stervenden, en den 24 Januari aldaar op het R. K. Kerhof begraven.     Zingt nu den Heer een nieuw lied, Zijn lof is in de ge- meenschap der Heiligen ; zij zullen Zijnen Naam lofzingen in Kooren, met Pauken en Harpen Hem tegenjubelen. Psalm 149       Van krachten uitgeput stierf hij in een gelukkigen ou- derdom en op gevorderden leeftijd gekomen tot de volheid der dagen. Gen. XXV, 8       Een jeder die U dient o Heer is verzekerd dat zijn le- ven zoo het beproefd wordt, ook gekroond zal worden, dat hij die in verdrukking komt zal bevrijd worden ; en dat hij die gekastijd wordt zijne toevlucht nemen mag tot uwe barmhartigheid ; want na het onweer geeft Gij stillte, en na het geween stort Gij blijdschap in.  Uw naam o God van Isreal zij geloofd in eenwigheid.  Zalig zij die weenen, want zij zullen vertroost worden.  Ik bid u dierbare kinderen bij onzen Heer Jesus Christus en bij de liefde des heiligen Geestes dat gij met mij medestrijdt in uwe gebeden voor mij tot God. Pray for the Soul of Blessed the Dear Sir  JEAN  CHARLES  DE FRANCE,  Widower of Madam MARIA  CATHARINA  HELENA  GEELKENS. Born in MAASTRICHT, 1 April 1810 and died in ZWOLLE, 21 Januari 1894, after the receiving of the H{oly} L{ast} Sacraments of the dying, and on 24 January there in the R{oman} C{atholic} Cemetery was buried.     Sing unto the Lord a new song, His praise is in the con- gregation of Saints ; they shall unto His Name sing praises in Chorus, with Tambourines and Harps in Him rejoice. Psalm 149       Of energy exhausted, he died in a good old age and at an advanced age came to be full of days. Gen. XXV, 8       Anyone serving You o Lord is assured that his life if so bereaved, shall be crowned, that he who is oppressed shall be set free ; and that he who is chastised shall be allowed recourse to your mercifulness ; for after the storm bringst Thou silence, and after the weeping shedst Thou joy.  Your name o God of Israel shall be praised in all eternity.  Blessed are the weep- ing, for they shall be consoled.  I pray you dear children with our Lord Jesus Christ and with the love of the holy Ghost that thou with me will fight together in your prayers for me to God. Note 1:	J. M. W. Waanders is the printer of the card. His business is in the Dutch city of Zwolle.
Note 2:	The last line is handwritten at the bottom of the card. I don't know who L-J is - perhaps a sibling of Antone who sent the card from the Netherlands to Wisconsin where Antone was living in 1894.
