MacKintosh James Lamancha House, Peebles Scotland 1789 - 1869 Jane He is my mother's great great grandfather. His son Robert married 3 times - Sarah Airey, Margaret Hastie, Mary Ann Burn and emigrated to Australia. Also owned tea plantations in India. His sister was Elspeth who died 16.5.1846 in Calcutta. McIntosh James Dufftown Scotland 1880 - 1957 Linda James McIntosh was married to Margaret Allen. I travelled to Dufftown to get the dates from their headstones but would like to access records now any ideas.

McIntosh John Fairfax, Virginia USA 1730 - 1770 Robert John McIntoush/McIntosh's will was proven on June 20, 1769. It is possible that his daughter Ann "Nancy" married John O'Daniel of Fairfax, Virginia. These O'Daniel's are part of my line. Lachlan McIntosh was an executor of John O'Daniel's will in 1798. I would like to find a copy of John McIntosh's will (above)and if possible, more information on this McIntosh family.

McIntosh John St Giles, Edinburgh Scotland 1700s - 1860s Carol Looking for any information regarding John McIntosh, lace maker, born approx 1831, Canongate, father John (hatter), mother Mary. He married Elizabeth Hume, d.o.b. approx 1834, on 31.12.1855 at Perries Court, High Street, Edinburgh. She lived at Fountain Street, he lived at Blackfriars Wynd. Her father was David Hume, bookbinder, mother was Elizabeth. They had 3 children in Scotland, Elizabeth born March 1856, Mary born approx 1859, John born approx 1863. John must have died as they moved to Middlesex where my great grandfather was born in approx 1865. He was named John also. The family moved to Salford, Manchester and had 2 more children, Sarah born 1868 and Alexander, born 1870.

McIntosh John Henry Wellington New Zealand 1890 - 1910 John He owned a hotel in Lower hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. Called the J.H.McIntosh Family Hotel.
McIntosh John Wesley Mason Co. Ky USA Born 1837 Nancy John Wesley McIntosh (my grandfather) was born in Mason Co. Ky. in 1837. I believe his father's name was Benjamin and his mother Eliza. I cannot locate any informationon on Benjamin to help me trace the family line back beyond him. Need to know where he was born and his father's name. He was born in approximately 1804. If you have any information about Benjamin McIntosh I would appreciate it. I think the middle initial is 'B'.

MacIntosh Joseph Jersey City, New Jersey USA 1890 - 1920s Jennifer Joseph MacIntosh is my paternal great grandfather. I find evidence of him in the family bible and the Jersey City Census. The Bible lists his parents as Louise Slocum MacIntosh and Theodore MacIntosh. I find reference to a Theodore MacIntosh as having fought in the Civil War in a NY division, but there I stop. This branch of my family lived in NYC and thereabouts. It is my understanding from family oral history that they were in the country for a long time and not recently (as in 1900's) emigrated from Scotland, but that might not be true.
