Left is the the church Letter (click to enlarge) of William Henry Wells dated "This 21 day of July 1906". It looks like a page (53) out of the ledger book itself. Page 4 of the links below shows W. H. Wells dismissed by letter 1906. Click to read what Mrs. M. Fowler wrote in a Nov. 26, 1936 newspaper article files.usgwarchives.net William's daughter Bessie Lucinda Wells was b 23 Dec 1888 in Shoal Creek, AL.. We don't know what year William's daughter was born but she is buried a Shoal Creek. Late 1889 or later most likely. Grandmother stated she was very young and would always show us the location of the grave of "Little Sister". The Shoal Creek minutes contains many mentions of William Henry Wells: First church abt. 1823
