DEGORY PRIEST
A hatter from London, Degory Priest married the widow Sarah (Allerton) Vincent at Leiden, Holland.  He embarked for Southhampton on the Speedwell in July, 1620 (along with Francis Cooke) and then on the Mayflower, leaving his wife and daughters behind.  He was a signer of the Mayflower Compact.  When Degory died of "the great sickness" soon after his arrival at Plymouth, Sarah remarried and, with her third husband and the daughters of her second marriage, set sail on the Ann in 1623.

MARY PRIEST
At the age of 10, Mary Priest with her mother, sister and step-father (Godbert Godbertson) departed for Plymouth on the Ann in 1623.
