FOOTNOTES
Burial information in New Hampshire was verified by Rand and Sharon Johnson on May 23, 2004 with Gene and Dianne Piurkowski as guides. Evergreen Cemetery is located on Richmond Road, just east of the main crossroads in Winchester, Cheshire NH.
Prior to 1691, Newton was also known as "Cambridge Village
1 Before birth of son John
2 The date is probably the 12th month - which would be February as the calendar was reckoned at the time
3 Marriage Record of the State of New Hampshire; married by Ezra Conant at Winchester, Cheshire NH
4 Based on gravestones at Evergreen Cemetery, WInchester, Cheshire NH
Children of Ezra Parker, Jr. buried there include:
- Sally Parker daughter of Captain Ezra Parker and Mrs. Caroline Parker (~1797-Aug. 27, 1798 AE 1 year)
- Abigail daughter of Major Ezra Parker died May 22, 1801
- The second wife of Ezra Parker Jr., Elizabeth H. ("Wife of Col. Ezra Parker, formerly wife of William Hind Esq.") is buried next to her first husband, died Sept. 5, 1847 AE 57
- Ann L. M. Parker died June 8, 1829 Aet. 19 is also buried at Evergreen in the plot with Ezra Parker's family, but there is no indication on the gravestone of her relationship.
5 In a deed by Ezra Parker dated September 22, 1796, he names four children: his eldest daughter widow Lucy Butler, his second daughter Fanny Hawkins, his youngest daughter Julliet Kellogg and his son Ezra Parker. He also names his nephew, Nathan Parker.
6 Fanny (Parker) Hawkins is presumed to have been alive on Sep. 22, 1796 per a deed made by her father on that date and still alive ~Jul. 1797 for the birth of her daughter Anna [Anna's birthdate is extrapolated from her gravestone in Willis Cemetery, Ashuelot NH]; Fanny is presumed to have died before Sep. 23, 1798 when Stephen Hawkins married Mrs. Lucy (Parker) Butler. It is conceivable that Fanny died either during childbirth or shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, there are no records of her burial at either Tufts or Willis Cemeteries in Ashuelot or at Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester. However, since Fanny is likely to have died before her daughter Anna (whose death occurred on Sep. 10, 1798 - just 13 days before her father remarried), it may be that Fanny was the first to be buried at Willis Cemetery, followed by her daughter, and that the gravestone is not visible.

Parker notes that this Fanne Parker died young because a second child bore the same name. See also A Parker Family History which is maintained by Charles Parker.
