Lucille Beatrice McBee, 89, of Dry Ridge, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Dry Ridge.

Survivors include nieces, Bonnie Lou McBee of Dry Ridge and Margie Vest of Louisville; and a nephew, Bill McBee of Burlington.

Services will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Memorials are suggested to Point Arc of Northern Kentucky, 104 Pike Street, Covington, Ky. 41011.

Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, is handling the arrangements.

Clifford Howard McBee, 84, of Crittenden died Thursday at his residence. He was a retired businessman.

Survivors include a sister, Lucille McBee of Crittenden; two nieces and a nephew, former state Rep. Bill McBee of Burlington.

Services will begin at 1 P.M. Saturday at Eckler Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials are recommended to the Point A.R.C. of Northern Kentucky.

None of the local funeral homes handled the services. The grave digger in town said that an out-of-town funeral home paid for the digging of
the grave. They do not keep records of out-of-town funeral homes past 10 years.

The competing paper I mention was the Stephenville STAR and they have bound copies for 1979, 1980, and 1981 ... so I am still unable to help you local the 1983 obit for Ona Blanch Reeves Beach. Pauline Beach, 85 passed away in Graham on 2 July 2002. Graveside services were held at the Pioneer cemetery where she was buried next to her husband. Her husband, Bennie Beach preceded her in death in 1989.

She was born 14 Nov. 1914 in Tulsa, OK. She is survived by two daughters, 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
