The PROCHNOWS are not only a mystery but very elusive. They lived in Wayne and Washtanaw Counties in Michigan from about 1890 to 1920, and then they seem to disappear for years. Elizabeth "Lizzie" and her son, Rudolph's obituaries were found from the 1940s and 1950s in Kent County, MI almost by accident.
