Robert James Fullford was born 3 Mar 1857 1 in Maitland, NSW, Australia, christened 22 Mar 1857; died 13 Oct 1910 2 in Maitland, buried Campbell's Hill Cemetery. He married in 1885 3  in Maitland, Mary Jane Kerrigan, died 28 Apr 1910 4, buried Campbell's Hill Cemetery.
Robert's first cousin Ada Gordon, writing in 1887 to her aunt Letitia Garmonswasy in New Zealand, wrote: ‘I hear that Robert married an elderly widow who has a public house 5. Robert was listed in the 1909 Commonwealth Electoral Roll for the Hunter electorate at Bourke Street, West Maitland, with the occupation of Commission Agent. There were no issue from the marriage.

The Maitland Daily Mercury - Friday, 29 Apr 1910, p.4. - Death of Mrs Rob't Fullwood - The death occurred in Sydney of Mrs Robert Fullford old and highly esteemed resident of the town. She was the mother of Messrs. John, Walter, Herbert, Archie, Frank and Norman Kerrigan. The funeral will take place to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon. The funeral cortege will leave the church-street railway station after arrival of the Sydney train.
