Strohbeck, 92, of Brighton, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was born on Jan. 3, 1878 in Fosterburg, and was a farmer for most of his life. He had a farm about five miles east of Brighton until he retired in 1957 and moved to Brighton. Surviving are his widow, the former Bessie Tunley, whom he married on Oct. 15, 1902; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cockley Kuhn and Mrs. Verna L. Pelletier, both of California; a son, Warren G. of Brighton; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church in Brighton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Warner Funeral Home in Brighton with the Rev. Don Riley, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in the Brighton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. [Index To Database]
