Grandma Parker
Ethel Wray Morrison Parker
In memory...
Photo of Grandma at 18 years of age.

This is Grandma at 18 years of age. Wasn't she beautiful?

She's wearing a coat bought by her Dad at Stameys Store in Fallston, North Carolina.

Also notice the little pin. It's called a "sweetheart" pin, depicting the crossed rifles of the US Army Artillery. I don't know who gave it to her, but Grandpa served in the Army and the two were married the next year.

Was it his or did Grandma have another admirer?
