Negroes to Dedicate Cemetery.

Dedication of what is said to be the finest negro cemetery in the South will be held at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery just south of the city on Sept. 27 and 28, the Rev. W. L. Dickson, Mayor Tate's minister pleni-potentiary to the colored race, announced Wednesday at the city hall. He said white people of the city are invited, many of whom are co-operating to make possible a free barbecue for the 5,000 or more people who are expected. Roscoe Simmons, one of the greatest orators of the negro race, will be a chief speaker.
