Norma Ann Comstock was born , Star Route, Uniontown, Crawford Co on 9 Feb 1910. Her father was Randolph Comstock, b. MO, age 45; her mother, Temperance Spear, b. AR, age 42 Ira V. Comstock, cousin, age 69, made affidavit 15 Feb 1962.

Norma was still a minor when her father died in January of 1924; her mother already deceased. Her older sister Ethel became her guardian - my great-grandfather, James M. Comstock, was surety for the guardianship bond.

Weekend guests of Mrs. Tennie Kemp were her nephew and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Call, Campbell, Calif., and a niece, Mrs. Hope Wisdom, Los Angeles, Calif.
Mrs. Kemp, Mr. and Mrs. Call and Mrs. Windom attended funeral services Friday at Oklahoma City for Jim Call, who died Wednesday at his home in Oklahoma City. He was a brother of Gregg Call and Mrs. Wisdom.

Sunday morning, Mrs. C. B. Kemp and her nephew, Gregg Call, and wife, who are visiting from California were planning to visit Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Barnes at Heavener. When Mrs. Kemp and Mrs. Call started out the back door, Mrs. Call slipped and fell, cracking a bone in her knee. She was rushed to Valley View Hospital and her leg was put in a cast.
Monday morning the Barneses visited the Calls and Mrs. Kemp from Heavener.

ALLEN (Special) - Services were Friday at 2 p.m. in the Guardian Furneral Home chapel, Oklahoma City for Jim Call, known to intimates as Lifus.
Mr. Call died at his home, 2916 Northwest Twenty-ninth, Oklahoma City, at 6 p.m. last Friday following an extended illness. He was born and reared in Allen, son of the late John and Minnie Call. He leaves the wife, Norma Ann, a son Jim Call Jr., a brother, Gregg Call, Campbell, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Hope Wisdom, Los Angeles, Calif.; and an aunt, Mrs. C. B. Kemp, Allen.
