Elizabeth Arnett was born in St. Francois County November 24, 1855 and departed this life this life January 15, 1935 at the age of 80 years, one month and 21 days.
She was united in marriage to Benjamin Franklin Arnett February 6, 1873. To this union thirteen children were born: Lottie Arnett and Maggie Webb of St. Louis; Minnie Inman of Ironton; Frances Betty, Rosa Young and Tom of Minimum; Lawrence and Ella Jackson of this place are living.
The husband and five children preceded her in death.
She leaves 38 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Martha Burr of Bonne Terre, three half brothers, Theodora and Roy Reed of Minimum, Alfred Reed of Detroit, Mich.
She united in marriage with the General Baptist Church at Black Mountain when a girl and lived a true and faithful Christian to the end. Among the last words she said were "I hate to leave you, but I hope to meet you all in Heaven. Do not grieve for me."
She was laid to rest in the Little Vine Cemetery. Besides the relatives she leaves a large number of sorrowing friends.

Missouri Death Certificate 2040: Elizabeth Arnett, widow of Frank Arnet, died 15 Jan 1935 of cancer of the colon. She was born 25 Nov 1854. Her father listed as John Reed. Lottie Arnett of St. Louis was the informant and didn't know Elizabeth's mother.

Father was William Arnett, b. MO; mother was Elizabeth Pinkley, b. Iron Co, MO. He was married. James ?E. Reed was the informant.

Jan 1891; John E. age 8, b. Feb 1892, Lydia V., age 4, b. Dec 1895. These children were by Miles' 2nd wife Rebecca Rosalie West Oscar V., age 3, b. Sep 1896 and Lulu age 1, b. Emma Belle married William L. H. "Willie" Matkin on 26 Aug 1897, Iron County, MO. Married by James E. Reed, M.G., uncle of Emma Belle. Willie was b. 1 Apr 1871 and d. 23 Oct 1933. Frances married (1) Charles Edward Young on 17 Dec 1899, Iron County, MO. Married by J. Reed, M. G., Frances' uncle. Charles was born 29 Oct 1877 and died 8 Mar 1923. Frances married (2) Napoleon Bonaparte Berry, sometime after 1923. He was born 13 May 1860 and died 21 Jan 1936 in a house fire near Ironton, MO. 1910 Census, Madison Co MO, Liberty Twp Charles E. Young, age 32 Francis, age 30. Married 10 years. 6 children, 5 living. Dovie A., age 9; Sherman, age?, Mamie age 4, and Rachel age 6 months. There was a daughter born 12 Jan 1905 and buried Black Mountain Cemetery. 1920 Census, Madison Co MO, St. Francois Twp Charley E. Young age 42, Frances M. age 40. Sherman E. age 18, Mamie E. age 13, Belva J. age 12, Rachel T. age 10, Lovie A. age 7 and Arizona A. age 2 [changed her name to Elizabeth] Frances & Charles are both buried in Little Vine Cemetery in Madison Co MO. Napoleon B. Berry of Ironton applied for his Old Age Pension from the Iron Co Register, 3 oct 1935.

617	vi.	Walter ARNETT¹¹⁰ was born on 13 December 1883 in Iron County, Missouri. Walter probably died before the 1900 census as he's not with the family. He would have been about age 16, so not too likely to be out on his own.
