If it were not for the obituary there would be considerable confusion and, in fact, she has been confused in the Ancestry family trees. There was an Alma Virginia Comstock, b. 16 Jul 1909, who died 18 Dec 2002 - she has a record in the social security death index as last residence, Madison Co, IL and a burial memorial on FindAGrave in Godfrey, Madison Co. She was 93 when she died. This is not the same person - she was a Comstock by marriage.
