I have seen an alternate birth date of 21 Oct 1837. He did not serve in the Civil War; said to have had a "hemmorage" - I wonder if that might have a hernia instead...

Millie was John's brother Overton's wife. Overton had died in 1867. She was also a Campbell, quite possibly a sister to Lucy.

John Richard HADEN and Lucy A. "Lou" CAMPBELL were married on 29 May 1862. Lucy A. "Lou" CAMPBELL⁵³⁴, daughter of Lewis Sale CAMPBELL and Eliza Dabney BROWN, was born on 8 July 1844 in Virginia.⁹²⁴ She died on 20 February 1904 at the age of 59.

Lou was the daughter of Lewis & Eliza Campbell of Amherst Co VA.

He married Eliza Dabney Brown on 18 Nov 1835 in Albemarle County, Virginia. Eliza was born 26 Jan 1808 in Albemarle County, died on 21 Feb 1881 in Amherst County, and was buried in the Campbell Cemetery, Amherst County.

Married William Alpheus Street, 15 May 1890. He waas born 22 Feb 1856; died 25 Mar 1918, Palmyra, Fluvanna Co, VA.

Her parents are buried in this cemetery, and there quite a large monument to the Streets.

Connie Haden Street died of a coronary thrombosis and fractured left hip, on 25 Dec 1945, Palmyra, Fluvanna Co, VA. She had lived there all of her life. Born 13 May 1869. She was the widow of W. A. Street. She had a millinery store. Father, John R. Haden, b. Fluvanna Co; mother, Lue A. Campbell, b. Amherst C. C. C. Conrad was the informant. Buried Pleasant Grove House Cemetery on Dec 27th.
