83. William HADEN^245,246 was born in 1772 in Albemarle County, Virginia.²⁴⁷ He died in June 1852 at the age of 80 in Fluvanna County, Virginia.^1,248

Date of birth based on Fluvanna Co VA tax books; in 1793 an additional male over 21 appeared in the household of John Moseley Haden in the tax records.

Lived on land deeded him from his grandfather John Haden. Living with son William D. in the 1850 Census.

Letter from grandson, Socrates Haden, gives William's name as William Douglas and states that he died at the home of his son William Douglas in 1852.

William HADEN and Martha "Patty" JONES were married on 4 May 1794 in Fluvanna County, Virginia.¹⁰ Martha "Patty" JONES, daughter of David JONES and Sallie [JONES], was born about 1772. She died about 1830 at the age of 58.

Patty may have lived until after the 1840 census as there was still an older woman in William's household.

Her parents were David & Sallie Jones. David's will of 1817, makes a bequest to daughter Patty Haden. John M. Haden was security for her brothers, Roland & James Jones, as Executors, when the will was presented for probate, 25 Oct 1819.

William HADEN and Martha "Patty" JONES had the following children:
