1. Isabella b. B. 1711 m. 26th Aug. 1736 Alexander Duncan, Town Clerk of Dundee, grandson of Alexander Duncan of Lundie, Provost of Dundee 1682-1685. Their third son was Alexander of Restalrig nr. Edinburgh, a W.S., who m. Mary d. of John Simson of Brunton, Fife and whose d. Ann m. Captain James Coutts Crawford R. N. of Overton, Lanark, (whom see hereafter). Their d. Mary Simson m. Captain the Hon. Sir Henry Duncan, 4th son of Admiral Viscount Duncan, the victor at Camperdown. She died 1885 leaving a son Adam Alexander of Naughton, Fife b. 25th June 1824 and a d. Ann Mary who d. unmarried 15th August 1882. Adam m. Catherine Mackenzie d. of Forbes Mackenzie of Fodderty co. Ross (of the family of Glack of co. Aberdeen) and d. 8th July 1855 leaving a d. Catherine Adamine Henrietta (Ada) b. 18th May 1854 who m. Lt. Col. Alex Anstruther R.A. (see Anstruther bart. of Balcaskie) who d. 18th October 1902. Ada Anstruther Duncan d. 22nd Oct. 1932.
