    Married in Madras to Gavin Ainslie Turnbull Esquire Dec 1856 at present Surgeon of H. M. 21st Hussars stationed at Lucknow Oude. Died July 29th 1869 at Kussowlie having signed the release previous to her marriage and leaving two children.
  2. John Duncan Myers born Nov 1st 1829 at Tenby South Wales. Baptized at Tenby. Died 14th April 1855 at Park House, Tenby. Died unmarried.
  3. Henry Duncan Myers born Feby 17th 1831 at the Cotes near Haversfordwest, South Wales. Baptized March 20th 1831 at Prendergast (same county). Supposed to have perished in the Province of Victoria, Australia 1864. Since he ceased to claim the remittance sent to him, and all letters which had been forwarded were returned. He lived in the bush alone his sole companion a dog and only came occasionally to Melbourne to claim his remittance and letters. No trace of him has ever been found.
  4. Frederick William Myers born April 30th 1833 at the Cotes. Baptized May 17th 1833 Prendergast. Died in the present year unmarried near Auckland New Zealand probable date 28th March.
  5. William Twysden Myers born Jany 21st 1835 at Ivy Tower near Tenby, South Wales. Baptized Feb 25th 1835 St Florence near Tenby. Still living.
  6. Fanny Stevenson Myers born Oct 21st 1836, Ivy Tower. Baptized Nov 22nd 1836 St Florence. Married to Richard Galbraith a Curate in the Church of Ireland at Bombay March 7th 1861. Died at Mahableshorn Bombay Presidency May 5th 1861. The present address of Mr Galbraith is Derryolace Glebe Carrickmacross Co Monayham.
  7. Arthur Bowen Richards Myers born Aug 16th 1838 at Ivy Tower. Baptized Sept 14th 1838 St Florence. Still living.
  8. Isabella Duncan Myers born Nov 26th 1841 at Ivy Tower. Baptized December 17th St Florence. Married January 26th 1865 to Charles Lloyds, Senior Lieutenant Indian Navy at a command Madras Presidency. Still Living.

Since we know Frederick William Myers died 17 March 1869 we know that this document was written in that year "Died in the present year..."
It would seem that the family back in Wales were completely unaware that Frederick William Myers had children. This is not surprising as one could well imagine the difficulty in conveying this information without also disclosing the fact that he was not married to Julia McKenzie. << dbc >>
