1. EVELYN ELEANOR4 KESTELL (JOHN GEORGE3, JOHN GEORGE2, JOHANN BAPTIST1 KASTEL) was born December 09, 1916 in Town Rhine, Sheboygan Co., WI; d. on May 21, 2001. She was buried on Friday, the 25th of May, at St. Patrick Church, Adell, WI. She died in Sheboygan, WI., at Meadow View Manor Nursing Home; She married RAYMOND E. ARCHER July 27, 1940 in St. George Catholic, Elkhart Lake, WI.
Notes for EVELYN ELEANOR KESTELL:
Evelyn Kestell and Raymond Thompson Archer were married on the 27 July 1940 at St. George's Catholic Church at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. They had a wedding dinner at Club Elkhart Lake, and then the reception was held at the home of the bride's mother. In the evening they had a Wedding dance at Rhine Center. They worked for several farmers for the first years of their marriage. Then they rented a farm in the town of Mitchell for two years before purchasing a farm in the town of Mitchell from Burt Rentmeester. They stayed on this farm for a year and then purchased a farm on the west side of Plymouth on highway 23. They lived on this farm for 16 years. They moved to Adell in 1962. Evelyn and Ray worked at Kohler, Ray for 19 years, and Evelyn for 25 years. They had three children, Lana, Carol, and James. Ray died with a heart attack on September 30, 1981, and is buried at St. Patricks Cemetery at Adell, WI. Evelyn contracted Parkinsons later in life.
Notes for RAYMOND E. ARCHER:
Raymond Archer was born in Belgrade, Minnesota on the 23 April 1910 to Martin Thompson, and Hazel Lawrence. His father passed away when the older children in the family were quite young. His mother remarried to Mr. Archer, and Ray was given the name Archer, so that all of the children in the family would have the same name. There were children born to Hazel and Mr. Archer also. Ray had a heart attack on September 30th, 1981 at his home in Adell, Sheboygan Co., WI. He is buried on St. Patrick's cemetery, just east of Adell, WI.
