Ethalind Augusta Edwards entered the US aboard the S.S. Verdi on July 05, 1913. Her name on the ships log was Etheline A. Edwards. She listed her age as 50 but she was 57.
On the Ships log she said she had a sister living in Barbados who's name was Florence Nicholls on Mahogony Lane in Bridgetown, Barbados. She said on the log she was going to Valley Cottage NY where her Daughter Lived. Her daughters name was Mrs. W. B. Hamblin.
Ethalind was traveling with her daughter Mabel G. Alleyne. Mabel said that Florence Nicholls was her aunt and Mrs W. B. Hamblin was her sister.
Ethalind Augusta Edwards had a sister named Florence who was married to James Nicholls. Mrs. W.B. Hamblin was Clementina Allyne. W. B stands for William Blanchard. Clementina spelled her last name Allyne rather then then Alleyne which is the way her sister Mabel Alleyne spelled it.
Ethalind is listed as Ethalind Augsta Edwards in the familysearch.com site
