The next photo is called RobertSarahKirkman.jpg and is a picture of their headstone.
As you can see the slate has not weathered well and is
difficult to read.
The grave also contains several children and grand
children of the couple, no ages are given,
it simply states 'Infant' against
their names. This headstone is the back right hand side in the photo
FamilyGroup.jpg.

The next photo is called Robert(MIDDLE)Kirkman. We don't know a lot
about this Robert, other than he is a son of Robert and Sarah, and that he
too had a son called Robert. He was born in 1729 and died 16 Jan 1773. We
have yet to track down a marriage for him (there appears to be a book or two
missing from the Cropwell Bishop Parish records from this period) and other
children as well. This headstone is the back left in FamilyGroup.jpg.

The next photo is called RobertKirkman.jpg. It shows the headstone of
Robert Kirkman bn. 1760, died 18 Nov 1821. This is the front left headstone
in FamilyGroup.jpg and it lies next to his wife Mary (front right).
