What is a legacy? What is Yours? Your legacy is something you create during your life that is left to help others or for others to complete when you can no longer do so. It is solely to benefit future generations. A legacy is a gift you leave behind without expecting anything in return. Most Importantly, your legacy should be a labor of love.

 

From the waters of Guinea and beyond!

This website is about my family's ancestry and history. All data and materials are presented from my point of view. My intent is to put more than just facts and dates in its' pages. I want to reveal the personalities and lifestyles of people who lived their lives in Guinea. The tales told in these pages were passed to me from family members, friends, newspaper articles and other documents. I will reveal folks who made up my world as a child and those that preceded me because without them I would not have been given life.

My goal is to leave behind a legacy of history and pictures to future generations so they too will know the heritage from whence they came. The value in preserving the family past is to ensure that in the future our children and grandchildren will know, understand and appreciate their heritage.
