Note: On 8 June 1835 a written declaration in support of his brother Johannes "John" SCHLOSSER/SLUSHER's Rev. War service Pension application was filed by Christopher. In it he makes reference to his own service during the war. In June 1835, Christopher was 78 y/o and a resident of Floyd Co., VA. - Transcript as follows:

I Christopher Slusher, a citizen of Floyd County, Virginia, aged 78 years, am a brother of the applicant John Slusher, do certify that I was a soldier of the revolution, and from the best of my recollection, believed that my brother John enlisted at the same time stated in his declaration, but cannot say for what length of time, as we at the time I heard he had enlisted resided a considerable distance apart, say one hundred miles, nor were we near each other to my knowledge during the time of our servatude.

SLUSHER, states that the tract of land (Lot No. 3 ... containing thirty nine and a half Acres) on the West side of the little Hawksbill Creek (Page Co., VA) was assigned to (inherited by) George B. SLUSHER on 10 Aug 1821 which indicates that his father, John George SLUSHER, had died before that date - John George SLUSHER's widow, Mary Ann, was living with her son, George B. SLUSHER, in 1840 and 1850 in Page Co., VA.
