1880 Forsythe Co.Ga. Vicksburg Creek District census listed A.J. Goswick age 33 born S.C. Sarah F. age 34 born Ga., William age 4, Lucinda and Mary Ida age 2 (twins).  Nearest neighbors to A.J. Goswick in 1880 was: John Goswick b.1839 Ga. (son of Thomas & Lucinda (Conaway) Goswick.  The 1850 Lumpkin Co.Ga. census shows that "Ammira" (may be Andrew) b.1845 Ga. son of Thomas and Lucinda Goswick.  The A.J. Goswick born ca. 1844 S.C. may be the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Arena (Pruitt) Goswick who left Union S.C. between 1840 and 1850 for Ga.  A.J. Goswick b. 1844 may be the "Andrew" Goswick with Thomas & Elizabeth Goswick 1860 census.

No research has been done on A.J. Goswick of Forsythe Co.Ga. since the 1880 census.

Thomas Goswick b. 1795 had a son "Andrew" age 18 on 1860 census, Also Thomas Goswick b. 1815 has a son named Andrew born ca. 1842.  This  Andrew J. Goswick  was b. 1844 S.C., and Thomas b. 1815 was in Ga. by 1828, and Thomas Goswick b. 1795 did not show up in Georgia until the 1850's.  More research would need to be done on this Andrew J. Goswick b. 1844 to place him with the correct family.  In the meantime, I am placing him under Thomas Goswick b. 1795.
