Census findings on John T. Leroy/Roy show wife as Elizabeth, yet he mentions in the Goodspeed Records that his wife was "Frances" Goswick, dau of George W. Goswick.

According to the information listed in the Arkansas Goodspeed book, Frances Roy was the daughter of George Goswick.  In 1840 the Goswick and Roy families were living in Humphreys Co. Tennessee.

It is not known who supplied all this information for the Goodspeed Book, and I have found no descendants of John T. and Frances (Goswick) Roy.  Frances Goswick's oldest sister Martha Goswick also married a "John Roy" and it is most likely that these Roy's were cousins since both are named "John".
