Dec.08,1999 Very sad news received. James E. Goswick passed away.  It is so hard for me to write this, as I loved James and his wife Libbie like a brother & sister.  When my Howard died Nov.20,1998 James & Libbie drove all the way from Birmingham, Ala. and James (bless his heart) pinned Howard's Navy medals on his uniform for me.  Then on Nov. 19th, 1999 James and Libbie did not want me to be alone on the one year annivesary of Howard's death and they came to be with me for that week end so I would not be alone.  James and Libbie had been back to their home in Birmingham for about a week when James suffered his heart attack.  He will be missed by so many.
