Francis Marion "Frank" Goswick dissapeared during 1940's, and there has been no trace of him since one of his brothers ran into him at a train station during that year, and asking him "when would he be coming home", and Frank replied "soon".  His younger brother Edgar Jesse Goswick spent his last years of life searching for Frank to no avail.

According to family members, Francis M. "Frank" and Cora (Higgins) Goswick parted company, both left, leaving baby Jack M. with Cora's parents., and by 1930 Jack M. Goswick was living in Santa Cruz, Ca. St. Francis School listed as: student.  He was age 11 at that time, born In Iowa.  Cora died 4/14/1975 Santa Crews, Ca..  George Higgins was son of Martin and Rebecca Higgins of Canada and England.  In 1900 the Higgins family is living in Pottawattomie Co. Iowa, Hardin Twp, and Cora is listed age 2 born Aug. 1897..  The Higgins are still in Pottawattomie Co.Iowa in 1910, Martin and Rebecca are in hh# 52 (Image 1), and George Higgins (listed as Higans) with Aruilla, George W.,age 15 Cora M (age 12), Loyd age 7 and Vina R. age 3 months.
