BATTENFIELD -- Olivette, 83, died Thursday, November 3, 2005 in Hampton, VA. Born on April 29, 1922 in Harrison, AR, she lived her adult life in Sand Springs and Mannford, until moving to Hampton 4 years ago. Mrs. Battenfield was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Battenfield; a daughter, Olivia Battenfield; her parents, Jim and Lillie Wilkerson; 6 brothers, Chester, Lester, Otto, John, Jimmy and Arthur Lee Wilkerson; 2 sisters, Edith Lawhon and Lillian Dodson. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Evans Olson and her husband, Hillmer "Swede" Olson of Hampton, VA, Sue Rae of Federal Way, WA; her sister, Mary Alice Wilkerson Risley of Pool, AR; 3 grandchildren, Norwood Evans of Gloucester, VA, Deborah Priest of Las Vegas, NV, and Gary Rae, Jr. of Federal Way, WA; 3 great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her life was held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Hampton, VA on Monday, November 7, 2005 by the Rev. Susan Copley. The family will receive friends November 10, 2005 from 10:30 a.m. until 12 Noon prior to burial services in Woodland Cemetery at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at First Baptist Church-Mannford, OK at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev.
