Hazel Marie "Granny" Hamilton, a lifelong resident of Sapulpa, passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at the age of 82.
Hazel was born June 19, 1923 in Hilton to Fred Reed and Nancy Katherine Holman Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd F. "Blackie" Hamilton in 1981.
She enjoyed being with her family, fishing and playing bingo. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two sons Danny and wife Carole Jean Hamilton, of Coweta, and Larry and wife Connie Hamilton, of Sapulpa; one sister Erma Knight, of Sapulpa; grandchildren Danetta Yandell, Deborah Hamilton, Danny Hamilton, Daryl Hamilton, Cindy Cantrell, Peggy Hunt, Jasper Cantrell, Debbie Barrett, Tammie Hammond, Lisa Hamilton; great-grandchildren Jason, Brenna, Deana, Charlie, Angela, Beki, Boyd, Ben, Jennifer, Traci, David, Derek, Kalyn, Jared, Courtney, Ethan, Amy, Nick, Doug, and Tiffany; and great-great-grandchildren Caleb S., Cierra, Jacob, Caleb L., Abigail, Maximilian, Meghann, Jake and Wyatt.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Sapulpa with the Rev. Gary Brown officiating.
