JOYCE TAYLOR WALLACE

Joyce Wallace, born Sept. 08, 1956, to the late Alvin S. Taylor, Sr. and the late Mary L. Taylor, went to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 04, 2005. Joyce was a loving mother, wife, sister and aunt.

Joyce was very devoted to her church and family, and touched the lives of many people during her short life on earth.

She was always giving of herself to family, friends and her church and was very appreciative of all she received in return. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Dale, of the home; her only child Kimberly Wallace-Nole, of Liberty Mounds; one brother Al Taylor and wife Barbara, of Mounds; four sisters Rosie Wallace and husband Larry, of Sand Springs, Lorraine Burgess and husband Kenny, of Mannford, Cathey Taylor and Phoenicia York, of Sapulpa; five nieces Mary Tiger and husband James, Charletta Edmonds and husband Scott, of Glenpool, Andrea Taylor, of Tulsa, Tiffany Taylor and Ashlie York, of Sapulpa; five nephews Joshua Manning and Jonathan Manning, of Mannford, Ray Stufflebeam, Jacob Taylor and Shannon York, of Sapulpa; two great-nieces Taylor Tiger and Kaitlen Tiger, of Glenpool; six great-nephews Trevor Stufflebeam, of Mannford, Trenton Pierce, of Sapulpa, and Colt Tiger, Cory Tiger, Dylan Edmonds, and Cody Edmonds, of Glenpool; five aunts Bonnie Bruton and husband Harold, Clara Hancock and husband Harold, Alice Lozada and husband Charles, and Eva King, of Sapulpa, and Maxine Broom and husband Keith, of Sand Springs; and four uncles Ralph Brown and wife Barbara, Richard Brown and wife Wanda, Delbert Brown and wife Jackie, of Sapulpa, and Clarence Brown and wife Bonnie, of Kellyville.

Special thanks go to her pastor, the Rev. David Rushing and dear friends Leroy and Rita Mondier and Betty Smith.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; niece Amy Taylor; brother Eddie Taylor; grandparents Eddie and Jewel Brown, and Jasper and Mary Taylor; aunts Odessa Gaylor, Norma Zinn, and Leona Brock and Uncle Andrew Brown.

Casket bearers are Joshua Manning, Jonathan Manning, Jacob Taylor, Shannon York, James Tiger, and Rodney Brown. Honorary bearers are Ray Stufflebeam, Scott Edmonds and Denny Brown Jr.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 08, 2005 at Cease Fire Church in Kellyville. The Rev. David Rushing will officiate and burial will be at Duck Creek cemetery in Liberty Mounds.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
