1942 - 2005

Funeral services for Linda Ann (McFarland) Wallin were held on Dec. 19, 2005, at the Church of God in Depew, with Rev. Clyde McGuire officiating. Burial followed at Oak Dale Cemetery in Depew.

Linda was born Dec. 31, 1942, in Depew to Floyd Everett and Grace (Pauley) McFarland and died Dec. 15, 2005, in Tulsa at the age of 62.

Linda graduated from Depew High School in 1960. She married Ted Wallin on June 7, 1963. Linda was a medical transcriptionist. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Depew.

Linda was a fun person and loved by all who knew her. She was an avid reader and enjoyed keeping up with world events and news. She loved sports, especially Depew basketball. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband and parents; two brothers, Tommy McFarland and Floyd Everett McFarland; and one sister, Lou Alice Raley.

Survivors include one daughter, Alecia Wallin and her son Michael of Bristow; one son, Ted Wallin and wife Mona and their children Brooklyn, Delani, and Max of Bristow; two brothers, Charles McFarland of Webbers Falls and Wayne McFarland of Depew; six sisters, Estella Taylor of Oklahoma City; Arlene Jones of Midwest City, Dollie Owens, Katherine Foster and Dorothy Moore, all of Chandler and Susie Winn of Golden Valley, Ariz.; and a large family that loved her very much and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, make a donation to Green Country Hospice, Claire House in Tulsa or The Salvation Army.

Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow was in charge of the arrangements.
