Louise Captola Mann Freeman was born June 14, 1919 in Sapulpa. She went to be with her Lord June 26, 2005 in Branson, Mo.
She was married to Thomas Ordery Freeman in Okmulgee and they made their residence in Sapulpa for 55 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1990.
Louise retired from St. John Medical Center after 22 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sapulpa.
She was preceded in death by her parents Julia Ann Hayes and James Robert Mann, eight sisters and six brothers.
Her son Tom Freeman, and his wife Mary Sue are of Sapulpa. She has two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her grandson, Tony, his wife Kris Freeman, and their children Hannah and Cooper are of Houston. Her granddaughter Michele, her husband Jeff Nichols, their children Jacob, Joshua and Joey are of Wichita, Kan. She has two sisters Barbara Reeves, of Frankston, Texas and Glenna Rainwater, of Aztec, N.M.
All who knew her were blessed. She was known among many for her famous pies and cobblers. Her family was the joy of her life. Spending time with her two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren were her treasured times. Her smile and loving arms will be greatly missed.
Serivces are 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Sapulpa with the Rev. Bill Pierce and the Rev. Doyle Pryor officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Bench, Larry Bench, the Rev. Gary Brown, Odis Burris, Ron Edmiston, Roddy Long, Jimmy Mann and Rex Mann.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
