OPAL M. ANGLIN

Opal Anglin, long-time resident of Sapulpa, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home in Sapulpa. She was born May 30, 1913 in Van Buren, Ark. to Oliver Weaver Forest and Carrie Mae Estes-Forest.

She married her husband Virgil Anglin on Nov. 9, 1930 in Broken Arrow and shared his life up until his death in recent years.

Opal enjoyed being active in her church when she was able. She also took great pleasure in working ceramics, crocheting and sewing.

Opal was preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil; three sons Kenneth, Pete and Jimmie Virgil; her parents; two grandsons Gary Dean and Jeffrey Lee; brothers Jim, Clifford, Jess and Frank; and sisters Gladys and Ruby.

She is survived by her children Delmer Anglin and his wife Jean, of Broken Arrow, Jack Anglin and his wife Paula, of Tulsa, and Mae Guest and her husband Emmet, of Porum; daughters-in-law Glenola Anglin and Yvonne Anglin, of Sapulpa; sisters Virgie Lemon, of Broken Arrow, and Louise Johnson, of Sapulpa; brothers Albert Forest, of Locust Grove, and Oliver Forest, of Sand Springs; uncle Oliver Estes, of Van Buren, Ark.; 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Opal Anglin are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Archie Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Dinner will be served following the service at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ on South Independence.

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
