Ralph Joseph Hayes, Jr., 55, a loving dad and grandpa, passed away Friday, Dec. 16, 2005 in Tulsa.

He was born June 5, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to Ralph Sr. and Mary Hayes. Ralph joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1968 where he served two years and was honorably discharged in 1971 as an Admiral Chief E-5 Sergeant. He then returned to Sapulpa, where he opened the doors to many at the Live Wire in Sapulpa for many years. He owned and operated a Sonic drive in Burleson, Texas for two years. He also worked in the developmentally disabled field as a care giver for 10 years. He was employed with Direct TV for the past two years as a customer service rep. He also was a Peer Coach spending many hours helping others.

Ralph became a part of many peoples lives in many ways. All who came in contact with him were touched by his love and blessed with his friendship. I was proud to have him as my Daddy!

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Sr. and Mary Hayes; sister Mary Edna Hayes and brother Ralph J. Hayes Jr.

Ralph is survived by one daughter Alisha Trout and husband Randall, of Tecumseh; three grandchildren Tazmon, Austin and Zairah Trout, of Tecumseh; three step-sons Gary Handley, of Sand Springs; Dustin Light, of Tulsa; Shane Griffin, of Wagoner; one niece and nephew of Florida; a nephew of Granite; and numerous other family and friends.

We love you and will miss you, and you will never be forgotten.

There will be no services at this time.

The family has entrusted the care of the arrangements to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
