Judith Ann Qualls went to be with our Lord Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005. She was born in Logansport, Ind. to Thomas and Helen Duncan on March 1, 1934.
Judy was a very loving and caring person. Once she became your friend you were one for life. She was the family rock for all of us. She remained steadfast during the sickness and death of both her husbands and her mother. She took care of them with love and dedication until their passing. Judy was a member of Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Sertoma Club. She also loved to sew, crochet and she really loved to play bingo.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands. The first was Joe Lee Brewer, until he passed in 1971. Then she met and married William Qualls until his passing in August 2001. She was also preceded in death by her mother Helen Duncan, sister Patty and brother Fred.
She is survived by her seven children Billy Ray Qualls, of the home, Thomas and Susan Brewer, of Tulsa, JoAnn and Bret Fergison, of Florida, Steven and Annette Brewer, of Sapulpa, Howard Brewer and Sam Burr, of Tulsa, Linda and J.W. Bill, of California, and Robert and Jo Anita Brewer, of Duncan; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, flowers and concerns. Special thanks go to Sharon, her next door neighbor, who was devoted to helping mom during dad and grandma's passing. We would also like to thank Mary for her encouragement in helping Judy move forward after all her losses she had suffered. You were a true friend.
She will be truly missed.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
The family has entrusted the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.
