Wanda Mae Pierce Reich, 63, passed from this life peacefully Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with COPD.

Wanda married William Swint in 1957, and they were divorced some time later. She then married Roger Reich in 1965, and they were divorced many years later, but she always had a special place in her heart for him.

In an effort to carry out mom's final wishes, there will be no viewing after the family night at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at the Green Hill Chapel. Her last wishes were to let family view her in private, but she did not want to be viewed after this. We hope you will understand. Anyone who knew Wanda will be able to understand that this is how she was and it is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings.

The family will meet at her daughter's house in Sand Springs for lunch at 11 a.m. prior to the funeral Nov. 12, 2003. All friends are invited to come. Please call 245-5002 or 246-0550 for directions to the home.

SAMUEL, HALEY (HALLEY) AND SCHERIE REYNOLDS
From "The Sapulpa Herald," Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Monday, June 14, 2004

Samuel, Haley and Scherie Reynolds

Samuel "Sam" Isham Reynolds, 6, and Haley Elizabeth "Libby" Reynolds, 8, and their mother, Scherie "Cheri" Liane (Parmer) Reynolds, 30, were carried to heaven by angels to joyfully bask in the presence of God on Monday, June 7, 2004 in Loveland, Colo. Libby was born Oct. 5, 1995 and Sam was born Oct. 16, 1997 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Their parents were L. Gordon and Scherie Liane (Parmer) Reynolds to whom they brought unfathomable joy and unconditional love.

Sam and Libby were delightful from birth and brought immense joy, love and happiness to their parents, extended family and all who knew them. They were spunky, cheerful, charming, witty and inquisitive with above average intellect and loved Jesus. They attended gifted and talented programs in school and had recently been promoted to first and third grades. They were amazed with season changes, tadpoles, bugs, clouds, a rainbow's splendor and mud puddles. They enjoyed art, puzzles, reading, silly, playing chess, laughing out loud, going to their grandparent's homes, Sunday school, adored animals and got excited for their birthdays and all holidays.

Surviving Sam and Libby is their father, L. Gordon Reynolds Jr., of Big Sandy, Texas, grandparents Garry and June Cole, of Sapulpa, and Gordon and Betty Reynolds, of Big Sandy, Texas, numerous aunts and uncles and a host of friends.

Scherie attended gifted and talented classes in the Garland, Texas schools during which time she was a drill team member, sang in the choir, played soccer, participated in Girl Scouts, was a sports photographer and writer for the high school newspaper. She attended tap, ballet, gymnastics and played piano. Scherie had an abiding faith in and love for God. From childhood through adulthood, she experienced numerous illnesses and surgeries; she was told she possibly would not have children. Therefore, she felt blessed when God gifted her with Libby and Sam who were her precious jewels and treasures - the love, joy and light of her life. She enjoyed being with them, playing with them, teaching them and doing anything for them.

Surviving Scherie is her husband, L. Gordon Reynolds Jr., of Big Sandy, Texas; her mother and stepfather, June and Garry Cole, of Sapulpa; sister Cynthia Landeros and her husband Steve; nieces and nephew Jamile, Sonja, Michelle and Steve Landeros II; uncles and aunts, Bob and Kris Harkins, of Ames, Iowa, John and Carol Smith of Sapulpa, Steward and Lela Cole, of Tulsa, Don and Sharon Cole, of Pahrump, Nev. and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

"Sometimes there are people who come into our life for a little while but leave footprints on our hearts that remain for an eternity."

So it is with Libby, Sam and Scherie who brought us so much joy and laughter and who will remain forever in our hearts and will always be greatly loved, treasured and missed.

Viewing is at Croley Funeral Home, 401 N. Center St., Gladwater, Texas. The service will be Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Highway 80 and FM 2685, Gladwater, Texas with interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Gladwater, Texas, Upshur County.
