CLINTON C.K. WAGNER JR.
Clinton C. K. Wagner Jr., 77, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1926 in Sapulpa and had lived here all of his life. He was married to Marilyn Murphy. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he had worked 35 years. He also had Wagner Well Service.
He was a member of the First Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and the U.S. Army Reserve 30 years. He was a graduate of Sapulpa High School in 1944. He had attended Tulsa University. He was a member of the National Association of Federal Employees. He was an avid bridge player and sports fan.
Survivors are his wife, Marilyn, of the home; children Tom and Lee Redding, of Sperry, Doug and Teresa Redding, of Sapulpa, Chris Redding, of Sapulpa, and Harriet and Jerry Pittman, of Rogers, Ark.; grandchildren Charlie Redding, Christie Redding, Clint Redding, Tiffany Redding, Ryan Redding, Kasey Redding, Karl Redding, J.D. Redding, Chelsee Redding, Tanner Pittman, Zack Pittman, and Jason Scott.
Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 in First Christian Church with the Rev. Gary Sheely officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Betty L. Walker, 72, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003 at her home.
She was born May 6, 1931 in Tulsa to A.C. Davison and Blanche Coleman. She was a certified medication aide.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Walker Sr.
Survivors include her daughters Terri King and her husband, Russell of Sapulpa, and Tina Mast, of Oklahoma City; son Gene Walker Jr., of Sapulpa; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters Susan Hicks, of Texas, Ann Mocri, of Illinois, and Shirley Condrey, of Florida.

Karen Walker
Karen Sue Walker, 50, passed away Monday, May 5, 2003. She was born July 12, 1952 and had worked in Sapulpa as a CNA and medical assistant for 25 years. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and cousin.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; father, Bill Brooner; sons, Jerry and wife Pam, Michael and wife Amy, Timothy and adopted son, Mike Sweet; grandmother, Pearl Busbee; brother, Billy Brooner and wife Theresa; sisters, Regina Grafton and husband Jeff, and Jeannette Piscopo; grandchildren, Katie Jo, Braden and Caleb; nephews, Jeff Grafton Jr., Jacob Brooner, Don Hutson, Daniel Hutson; nieces, Shannon Hernandez and Misty Maxwell.
She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly. Karen had two dear friemds that spent so much time caring for her, who she considered sisters, Barbara Ehlers, of Missouri and Patti Lynn Curry, of Sapulpa. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and loved so many who attended church with her.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, JoLea Brooner, grandfather, Jesse Busbee, and sister, Loree Grant.
The memories we have of Karen, who we called Suzie, will always be precious to us. She was always fun to be around and usually kept us laughing, because we never knew what she would say from moment to moment. She loved us all very much, especially her grandchildren.
She became close to her Lord and spent much time in service at her church and in prayer for others.
We rejoice with her at her passing because she is now with her Lord and finally with her mother, who she missed dearly and couldn't wait to see again, and her grandfather, who she adored.
Suzie, our hearts are hurting, but we are so grateful that there is no more struggle and pain for you and that you are happier than we can imagine. Love ya, Suzie.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2003 at Smith Funeral Home with Brad Taylor officiating.

Robert Lee "Bobby Wall
Rober Lee "Bobby" Wall, 69, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2004.
He was born Dec. 3, 1934 in Wynnewood to Aubrey and Dovie Wall. Robert lived most of his childhood in Sulfur and went to high school in Oklahoma City.
He finished his education through the U.S. Navy, which he joined on May 11, 1954. He served four years during the Korean War.
After leaving the Navy he returned to Oklahoma City to work with his father at Fox Smythe trucking. During that time he met and married Sarah Dodge on May 10, 1963. Later he went to work driving a truck for Red Ball Inc.
He moved to Kellyville in 1977 to follow his job to the Sapulpa office. After Red Ball closed, he worked for W. L. Washum Trucking and then K-Hill Trucking until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, his parents and his sister, Pat Jones, of Oklahoma City.
He is survived by two sons, Barry Wall, of Kellyville, and Timothy Wall and his wife, Lisa, of Sapulpa; four grandchildren, Andrea, Dalton, Alexis and Jayden.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We love you Grandpa Bob, you will be missed but not forgotten.
Memorial services have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Arlene Myrl Wallace
Arlene Myrl Wallace, 77, died peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005 in Tulsa, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 3, 1927 in Durham, Ark.
She attended Durham School until age 16 and then moved to California. Arlene worked as a spot welder for the war effort for about a year. She then moved to Mounds with her parents and worked at Newberry's Department Store in Sapulpa. Arlene met Ottis and they later married on Jan. 17, 1951. She was a homemaker for a while and then worked as a nurse at Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa for 25 years. Arlene enjoyed making quilts, crocheting afghans and working crossword puzzles. She was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her loving husband, Ottis.
Survivors include four children Janice Wadlow and husband James, of Tulsa, Sue Sitton, of Mounds, Tom Wallace, of Mounds, Tim Wallace and wife Rhonda, of Broken Arrow; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 at Mounds First Baptist Church in Mounds. Interment will follow at McNabb Cemetery in Mounds. Arrangements will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

JOHN ROBERT WALLACE
John Robert Wallace, 79, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2004.
He was born in Okmulgee to Charles Edgar Wallace and Rachel Ann (Creason) Wallace.
John married Selena Creason Nov. 23, 1946. They were married 56 years. John also served in the United States Airforce four years.
He worked at Liberty Glass 27 years and at Red Bird eight years. John was a retired minister also. While John was able, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Selena Wallace; brothers and sisters Darla Ann Wallace, William Lee Wallace, Charles Raymond Wallace, Agnes Clo Doyle, Ottis Henry Wallace, Virgil Leonard Wallace and Amanuel Mason Wallace.
John is survived by his loving children, Donah Long, of Kellyville, John L. Wallace and his wife Joyce, of Cushing, and Carl Wallace and his wife Angela, of Sapulpa; sister Juanita Grace Barbarotto, of Sapulpa; grandchildren Brandon Shane Land and his wife Valerie, of Conway, Ark., John Samuel Wallace, of Tulsa, Jennifer Lynn Quinn and her husband, Donnie, of Drumright, Ryan Blake Wallace and his wife, Jennifer, of Tulsa, Brittney Nicole, Nathan Emmanual and Kaleb Andrew Wallace, all of Sapulpa; great-grandchildren Sierra and Patricia Quinn, both of Drumright; plus a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rosa Lee Walters
Rosa Lee "Rose" Walters, 90, passed away Sept. 26, 2004 in Tulsa. Rose was born May 2, 1914 in Roland to Joe Chester and Maude Mae Bratton Russell. The family lived in Sallisaw prior to moving to Haskell in a wagon when Rose was a young girl.
This is where she met her life-long companion of 56 years, Charley D. Walters, who preceded her in death in 1989. They moved to Sapulpa in 1947 and except for living in California for a period of time they have lived continually in Sapulpa.
Rose spent most of her life working along side her husband in the service station/grocery store business in Yahola, Haskell and Sapulpa. She also had her hand in many different professions such as selling Avon, Beeline and Queensway clothes and various other products. Rose was known for the tender loving care she gave to the residents of Pleasant Manor Nursing Home while employed there. She loved and enjoyed being with people and her witty personality and feisty spirit were assets that provided her with many friends and endeared her to her family.
She had many interests and hobbies but particularly loved to take pictures and has provided her family with precious memories of pictures she has taken from the years. She loved fishing and traveling the back roads of Oklahoma and Arkansas and enjoyed bowling up until a few years ago. Her ancestors came from Greenville, Tenn. to Arkansas prior to the Civil War. A highlight of Rose's life was a few years ago when she traveled back to Tennessee with her children to see the log cabin built in 1836 by her great-great-grandfather, Robert Russell.
Rose was converted as a young girl and was currently a member of the Glenwood Assembly of God.
Preceding her in death were her husband Charley, infant son Alford, her parents and four sisters.
Survivors are one brother Eugene Russell, of Haskell; one brother-in-law W.A. Madewell and one sister-in-law Rubye Kasinger; her children Charles Walters and wife Marjorie, of Sapulpa; Ray Walters and wife Shirley, of Tulsa; Shirley Bradford and husband Dennis, of Sapulpa; and Barbara Hume and husband Blake, of Sapulpa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends she has made through the years and her friends at Hickory Crossing.
As our mother, grandmother, relative and friend, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 at the Glenwood Assembly of God Church.
Serving as pall bearers will be her grandsons Larry Walters, Gene Walters, Monty Bradford, Stan Walters, Derrick Walters and Randy Smalley.
Interment will be at the Haskell City Cemetery.
Services will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Ward, 64, of Sapulpa, died tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at his home. He was born Aug. 22, 1937 in Oklahoma City.
He was a retired transmission specialist from Apco Transmissions, where he had worked for 16 years.

Stella Neomi Brimhall 'Weatherman', 'Lowe', Nee Ward
Stella Neomi Brimhall "Weatherman", "Lowe", Nee Ward was born Sept. 7, 1906, in Spavinah during the time Oklahoma was still Indian Territory.
At 98 years young, she left this world in God's hands. She passed on Jan. 19, 2005 at Eureka Springs, Ark.
In her lifetime, Stella had six children: Doris Weatherman, Georgia Wanetta Weatherman, Nile Ray Weatherman, Erma Lois Weatherman, George Hayden Lowe, Jr., and Mary Yvonne Lowe.
All her children with the exception of two passed on before her. The remaining children are George and Erma. George lives in Huntsville, Ark. and Erma lives in Temecula, Calif.
With the exception of Doris who died before the age of 1 with diphtheria, all her children were with children of their own.
Georgia's only child is Mary Pauletta (Lyon) Nielson of Farmington, N.M. Ray's children are Raydeana, William, Ricky and Deborah, all who are still alive with the exception of Ricky.
Erma's children are all still alive and they are Maryland (Ludolph) Whitney, Kathy (Ludolph) Yulich, Isabell (Ludolph) Little and Charles Ludolph.
George has two children and they are George Hayden Lowe III and Laura Neomi (Lowe) Robledo.
Mary passed on at the age of 14 and was not married or with any children.
Stella leaves many great-grandchildren.
She came to Sapulpa in a covered wagon pulled by a great team of horses. Her father and mother brought her and her brother and sister to Sapulpa to make a living.
She had her children in Bristow and Sapulpa and provided for them as best she could. In her most recent last two years she resided with and near her son George. Prior to this she spent many good years in Farmington, N.M. She resided in Los Arboles, Colo. for approximately 30 years prior to 1995.
Stella was married three times. They were William Weatherman, George Hayden Lowe and Glenn E. Brimhall, all of whom passed on before her.
Her main legacy is that she never let up and did what she wanted to do until the end. She was very smart and loved to read and write. She will be remembered as a strong-willed person and wise in the ways of nature. Her Indian blood stood out in every way. She was the daughter of George Lafayette Ward and Liza Belle (Young) Ward. May she join them in heaven with a joyous reunion.
As she always said, "Just Stella."

WILLIAM B. "BILL" WARD
William B. "Bill" Ward, beloved husband of Mary, devoted father of Davis, cherished Pampaw of Chris, Elliott, Jordan and Abby, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003. He was 77.
Mr. Ward was the youngest child of Charles O. Ward and Nellie Thompson Ward, born Aug. 21, 1926 in Denoya.
He graduated from Francis High School in 1945 and worked in defense plants during World War II.
After attending barber college in Tulsa, Mr. Ward was employed as a barber at Boston Barber Shop and Kennedy Building Barber Shop.
In 1957 he opened Jiffy Laundry in Sapulpa and operated a successful, multi-location laundry business until he retired in 1976. Mr. Ward also owned and leased commercial properties in Sapulpa and Pawhuska.
In 1951 he married Mary Lois Hooser and they have made their home in Sapulpa since 1953.
Mr. Ward served on the Sapulpa City Commission 1974 through 1978 and was a director on the Sapulpa Historical Soceity Board. He has been a member of the Ridgeway Baptist Church since 1955 where he served on the board of deacons and taught Sunday school. He also worked with the Cub Scouts and various youth and school groups. Mr. Ward was a member of the Pilgrim Rock Lodge where he was a 32nd degree mason. He was also a charter member of the Tulsa Scottish Rite and recently received his 50-year recognition pin.
Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen W. Wallace, and brother, Charles L. Ward.

James Richard Warfield
James Richard Warfield, born July 6, 1947, in Sapulpa, to James R. Warfield and Joanna Rule Warfield, died Jan. 22, 2005 in Alcoa, Tenn. James served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp and then worked for Frisco Railroad for several years before moving to the Tennessee area. He was a member of The United Methodist Church.
His mother, Joanna Rule Warfield, preceded him in death. He is survived by his father James R. Warfield, of Springfield, Mo.; daughter Jennifer Warfield, of Ft. Meyer, Fla.; sister and husband Carol and Truman Hensley, of Powell, Tenn.; niece and husband Cathy and Scott Daughtery, of Knoxville, and children Brandon and Heather, of Tennessee; and aunts Jean and Wendell Evans, of Tucson, Ariz. and Jackie Robertson, of Sapulpa; and several cousins and numberous friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Gary Wm. Metcalf officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the family plot at the South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa.

Marilyn Kan Warner, 64, of Sapulpa, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003 in Sapulpa.
She was born Aug. 27, 1939 in Lima, Ohio to Richard and Rose Homes.
She married James Warner July 31, 1954 in Lima. He preceded her in death.
She was born and raised in Lima. She was a homemaker. Her family lived in many places before settling in Oklahoma more than 20 years ago.
She was a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed women's ministries, Red Hat Society and loved having tea parties for the children at church.
Survivors are her daughters, Robin Amerise, of New York City, and Kathy Smith, of Noble; son Richard Warner, of Sapulpa; sister, Barbara Palin, of Bradenton, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jason Owen Warner, Sarah Mae Warner and Kelsey Marie Smith; great-grandchild, Brianna Leigh Brunelle, and great-son-in-law John Amerise.

Kenneth Watashe, 58, of Kellyville, died Tuesday.
He was born Aug. 4, 1946 to George and Mary Watashe. He attended Woodlawn and South Heights Schools in Sapulpa, and Monroe Junior High and McClain High School in Tulsa.
Kenneth served his country with the United States Marines serving two tours in Vietnam between 1966 and 1970.
Kenneth is survived by his children Marianna Watashe, of Glenpool, Don Daunell Watashe, of Tulsa, Levi Watashe, of Tulsa, Mark Watashe, of Tulsa, and Henry Watashe, of Sand Springs.
He is also survived by his mother Mary Barnett and sisters Lou Spencer, of Kellyville, Veletta Anderson, of Kellyville, Leetrice Bearpaw, of Kellyville, Aleta Watashe, of Kellyville, and Katie Johnson, of Sapulpa, plus five grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Kenny will be miseed by all his loved ones and friends.
There will be a wake service 7 p.m. Friday at Kenny's home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Bill Foote will be officiating at the Friday wake service, and the Rev. Jimmy Alexander will be officiating Saturday's funeral service.

Lawrence C. Watashe, died Friday at the age of 75. He was born March 17, 1929 in Creek County. He was a retired carpet installer and had lived here all of his life.

Jan Lee Watkins
Jan Lee Watkins passed away Monday, April 29, 2002 at the Grace Living Center in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was 46 years old.
Mrs. Watkins was born Feb. 24, 1956 in Amarillo, Texas to Howard and Juanita Goodrich.
Mrs. Watkins first and foremost loved her family; she loved her pets Pepper the dog and Katie the cat.
She also loved her work and being around others, especially children. As once said by Will Rogers, "There never was a man I didn't like", so goes it with Mrs. Watkins, brothers, sisters and children alike.
You could find her at all types of sporting activities. You name it. From volleyball to baseball to football, she would work the concession stands quite a bit and was always involved in Glenpool Schools activities and work.
One of her greatest thrills was when she and her husband Ronnie rented hotel rooms in Norman, Okla. Another great moment was when the Glenpool Lady Warriors won the state championships, which their only daughter started and was instrumental for the state champs.
Her father Howard Goodrich preceded her in death. She loved her mother and father and honored them dearly.
She loved swimming! She was as good a mother and wife as anyone could be. She was and always will be missed by her family and all her school workers alike!
She is survived by her husband Ronnie Watkins of the home, mother Juanita Goodrich of Jenks; in-laws Gracie and Gene Mayberry and Aubrey Watkins, all of Sapulpa; children Kedrick and Teresa Watkins of Glenpool, Kelly Watkins of Hollis and Kenda and Donny Ingle of Tulsa; sister Kay Murry of Oklahoma City, Kathy Judge of Kentucky; brother-in-law Richard and Laura Watkins; grandson Austen Watkins as well as her beloved dog Pepper, cat Katie, her other dog Terra and her special friends the Cafeteria Ladies.
Services wil be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2002 at the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Millard "Preach" McGuire and the Rev. Loren Stephenson officiating.

WATSON -- Charles Doyle, Sr., was born on October 2, 1916, on his mother's 29th birthday at Ada, OK to Charles Samuel Watson and Zella Moorhead Watson, while his father was in school at what was then East Central State Teachers' College and is now East Central University. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Carter County, OK where he finished his secondary education, graduating from Ardmore High School as President of his senior class. He entered the University of Oklahoma at Norman in 1933 at the age of 16 years, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and a degree in Law. He was a member of the Ruf-Neks and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. While at the University he met the love of his life, Lorene "Lucky" Lucado from Oklahoma City. He and Lucky were married on April 14, 1941 and of this marriage 3 children were born: Charles Doyle Watson, Jr., William Kent Watson and Jean Watson West. Lucky preceded him in death in 1994. He served almost 5 years in the United States Army Field Artillery Branch during World War II with most of his service being in the Pacific Theatre. He was honorably discharged in 1946 with the rank of Major. He moved to Drumright, OK shortly after his discharge from the military. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Drumright for more than 50 years, during which time he held every position in the church which can be held by a Layman. He practiced law in Drumright for more than 50 years, 34 of which were in partnership with his oldest son. He served his chosen profession by serving two three-year terms on the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors and in 1971, as President of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation. He was licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Oklahoma, as well as the United States Supreme Court. He served the community of Drumright as past president of the Drumright Lions Club, having been a member of that organization for more than 50 years; he was past president of the Drumright Chamber of Commerce; he was a 32 degree Mason and a 50 year member of the Drumright Masonic Lodge; he served as Secretary of the Drumright Memorial Hospital Foundation for 17 years; served as Legal Counsel for the Drumright Board of Education for 22 years; and served as City Attorney for the City of Drumright for 37 years. He was proudest of his membership in the American College of Trial Lawyers, membership which is by invitation only, and is limited in each state to one percent of the practicing attorneys in that state. He died on October 31, 2003, and left surviving him his 3 children, his grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church, Drumright. Cardia Hicks Watson was born in Webb City, Mo. on Sept. 15, 1907 to the late Lee High and Clercy R. Bookout High.
She passed from this life Monday, April 5, 2004 at the age of 96 years.
She was raised and educated in Missouri and Kansas but moved to this area as a young adult. She married Roy Lee Hicks on Jan. 27, 1925 and they raised a family of four children.
They remained together until his death in 1969. During the late 1970s, she went to work at the Steer Inn restaurant in Cushing and stayed there for several years.
On June 8, 1978 she married Ector Watson, a minister in the Church of Christ. They traveled around Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. They lived in Stigler for a while but eventually settled in Cleveland, where they remained until his death in 2001.
She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren and was a devout member of the Church of Christ in Cleveland. Due to her failing health, she was staying at The Gardens in Sapulpa.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Naomi M. Rutherford, in 1954; three brothers, Ellis, Bulford and Elmer High; and one half brother, Aaron Barton.
Her remaining family includes a son, Kenneth Hicks and his wife, Norma, of California; two daughters, Fern Carroll and her husband, Ray, of Sapulpa, and Betty Thomas, of Cleveland; grandchildren Linda Taylor, of Tulsa, Kenita Hall and Randy Hicks, both of California, Debbie Thomas, of Hominy, and Doug Thomas, of Prue; great-grandchildren James Taylor, Caleb Hall, Julianna Hall, Jon Hicks, Lee Hicks, Jeb Thomas, Matt Thomas, Shain Thomas, Melissa Newburn and Craig Newburn; great-great-grandchildren Madison Newburn, McCade Newburn, Zane Taylor and Brayden Taylor; two half brothers and three half sisters, Fred and his wife Jeneva, of Kansas, Virgil High and his wife, Ava Rose, of Kansas, Floy M. Buzard , of Kansas, Mary A. Babock, of Kansas, and Pearl A. Dobson, of Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and loving friends.
Emogene Butler Watson
Emogene Butler Watson died Thursday, May 30, 2002 at her home in Kellyville.
She was born on October 13, 1928 in Williams, to James Henry and Voisie Lee "Hanna" Butler.
She lived in the Tulsa area and was married to Melvin Valdo Watson in 1944.
In 1945 they moved to Dallas, Texas.
She worked as a waitress at Chubby's Restaurant in Dallas, for many years. She also co-owned two parking lots in the Dallas area with her husband.
After Mr. Watson's death in 1993 she moved to Sapulpa where she lived until moving to Kellyville in 1998.
She attended the Salvation Army Church over the past few years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Clarence Butler; a sister, Marie James; a niece, Janie James and her sister-in-law, HollaBelle Hunt.
Survivors include two brothers, Dewey Chester Butler and wife Melissa Jane and Jimmy Lee Butler all of Tulsa; three nieces, Donna Remer and husband Woody of Kellyville, Barbara Butler of Tulsa and Bonnie Duncan and husband Chris of Inola; four great nephews,; two great nieces; 15 great great nephews; three great great nieces and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Watson will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2002 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

Jerry E. Watson of Sapulpa died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002 at the age of 65.
Mr. Watson was born Aug. 27, 1936 in Sapulpa and had lived here all of his life. He had served in the U.S. Army.
He was a welder and truck driver. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his brothers, Roy Watson of Sapulpa and Charles "Chuck" Watson of Sapulpa; a sister, Judy Kerr of Drumright and his companion, Helen Fox of Tulsa.
Graveside rites for Mr. Watson have been set for 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2002 in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Bobby Watson officiating.

Kenneth "Grandpa Horsey" Weaver, 76, of Sapulpa, died Thursday, July 24, 2003.
Grandpa Horsey was born June 12, 1927 in Iron Post to Sam and Jewel Weaver. He worked for Roy Wickham since the age of 12. He was president of Pony's of America and graduated from the Ft. Smith Auctioneer School.

BILLYE WEBB
Billye Webb of Sapulpa died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at the St. Francis Hospital at the age of 70. Mrs. Webb was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Centralia and had lived in Sapulpa for the past 37 years, moving here from Tulsa.
She and her late husband, Carl, had been the owners/operators of Ol' Timer's Liquor Store on South Main Street. She was employed at Mister Indian's.
She was an avid bingo player and was a well-known seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carl H. Webb, on Dec. 12, 1997.

Dorothy Veda Webb left this life Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She lived most of her life in Kellyville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Webb; son Jerald Webb; daughter Barbara Webb; parents B.H. and Carrie Crell; and three brothers Delbert, Andie and Tommy Don Crell.
She is survived by her grandsons Darrell Means, of Kellyville and Darrin Means, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; her four great-grandsons Alec, Anthony, Skyler and B.J. Means; great-granddaughter Morgan Means; special niece Carol Yocham, of Kellyville; sisters Gladys Luper, of Kellyville and many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kellyville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, in the Kellyville Free Holiness Church.

EFFIE H. WELCH, LONG-TIME CITY RESIDENT, DIES
Mrs. Effie H. Welch, 55, 424 S. Adams, died Monday afternoon at Bartlett Memorial hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 5, 1909 at Star City, Ark., and attended schools in Pine Bluff. She was married to J.D. Welch Oct. 31, 1927 in El Dorado, Ark., and they moved to Sapulpa in 1934. Welch is a long-time empolyee of Pur Oil company.
Mrs. Welch was a member of First Baptist church, Kiefer chapter Eastern Star and Pure Oil club.
Survivors, besides her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Diann McDaniel, 801 S. Boyd; a granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. L.C. Clark, El Dorado; Mrs. James M. Cales, Tulsa; and Mrs. Ruby Mae Brown, Pine Bluff; three brothers, Stark and Roy Newman, Star City, and Herbert Newman, Searcy, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist church. Rev. Alvin Hedin will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Juanita C. Welch
Juanita C. Welch, 80, of Holdenville, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the Seminole Medical Center. Welch was born Feb. 11, 1924 in Marlin, Texas.
She had moved to Holdenville one year ago from Tulsa, where she had lived most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Mr. Wesley, 77, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002, in Tulsa.
He was born near Beggs on Oct. 27, 1926. He married Mary Jane Owen in Okmulgee on Aug. 31, 1946.
He was self-employed in the backhoe business before his retirement. He had also worked in the crude oil trucking business and had been an oilfield pumper. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Beggs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kelley and Walter Wesley, and two sisters, LuVerna Howard and Nellie Myrtle Wesley.

Earl Glenn West
Earl Glenn West, a resident of Tulsa, passed away Monday, March 29, 2004 at the age of 67. He was born Feb. 24, 1937 to Basil and Rilla (Holcomb) West in Bristow.
He served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. He retired from Public Service Company of Tulsa after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his loving son, Mike West, and his wife, Sherri; three grandchildren: Megan, Mathew and Davis Scott, of Broken Arrow; and five sisters and one brother.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Hood officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Monroe L. West
Monroe L. West went to be with our Lord at the age of 93, Friday, Jan. 28, 2005.
Monroe was born July 25, 1911 in Dike, Texas to Emmitt and Dora West. He attended School in Dike, Texas and moved to Oklahoma when he was 18 years old. Monroe married Audia Corley in Blanchard March 9, 1930. They lived on a farm several years around Blanchard. He was ordained to preach in 1937. He preached on the Mission Field and began missionary school and graduated with a Doctors degree in Theology. Monroe and Audia moved to Sapulpa in 1960 and he worked at Bartlett Collins Glass Company for 18 years.
Monroe loved the Lord and his church. He pastored churches for 56 years including churches in Dibble, Purcell, Okemah, Catoosa and Emmanuel and Southern Hills Baptist Churches in Sapulpa. Monroe loved to sing and listen to his daughter and granddaughter play the piano and hear his great-granddaughter play her flute.
Monroe is survived by a daughter, Bernice Bell of Sapulpa; three grandchildren Greg Bell, of Tulsa, Debra Bell, of Sapulpa, Stephanie Wilson and her husband Brian, of Sapulpa; three great-grandchildren Jamie, Seth and Dallas Wilson, all of Sapulpa.
Monroe was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years; two brothers, three sisters, and a son-in-law, James Bell.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Kenneth Dale Westbrook
Kenneth Dale Westbrook passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004. He was born Sept. 3, 1023 to Tom and Della Westbrook in Selma, Calif.
He married Edith Johnson Sept. 4, 1942 in Santa Clara, Calif. They had three sons. Edith preceded him in death Feb. 6, 1999.
Kenneth was gifted in music. He played the violin, guitar and steel guitar. He tried to obey the voice of the Lord. Once, he was told to go home a different way and he found his niece, Gloria. She had followed some friends from school and then didn't know how to get home. He took her home.
Kenneth is a veteran of World War II. He trained for the army at Fort Ord, Calif. and was shipped to service in Europe. Many times he was a lineman, working behind enemy lines running wire. When God told him to move, he moved. There would be explosions right behind him.
Kenneth was awarded the Bronze Star and other medals. He received an honorable discharge in 1945 when the war ended.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Joyce McCuistion Westbrook, of Broken Arrow; sister Edith Jackson, of Turlock, Calif.; brothers Ernest Westbrook, of Saratoga, Calif. and Don Westbrook of Atwater, Calif.; three sons Mel Westbrook, of Rowlett, Texas, Gary Westbrook, of Sapulpa and Brian Westbrook, of Monterey, Calif. He has grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Texas and California.
The family would also like to thank all those who were so supportive during this difficult time. A very special thank you to Sojourn Care who cared for Kenneth during his illness. He was truly blessed to have such wonderful friends to have passed through his life.
Dinner will be served for the family at the First Assembly of God Church at noon on the day of the service. The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at Green Hill Funeral Home.

Gary was an active member of AA for 21 years. His other passions were NASCAR, Oklahoma State University football, the Broncos and his grandchildren. His philosophy on life was to live one day at a time.

Jeffrey Allen Wheeler, of Coweta, was born Aug. 18, 1963 in Mesquite, Texas and passed away Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 in Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Stanley Wheeler and Olive Marine (Hall) Wheeler.
Jeff was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorn fan. He liked to go dancing and listen to country music.
He is survived by sister Beth Wheeler, of Sapulpa; girlfriend Teresa Nickles, of Coweta; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Beulah E. White, 92, of Sapulpa, died Monday, March 31, 2003.
Mrs. White was born Jan. 11, 1911 in Minnith, Mo. and was a life-long Sapulpa resident.
She was an active member of the Church of Christ. She and her late husband, Hardy White, owned a grocery store in Sapulpa for many years and later they started and owned Hillbilly Bar-B-Q Sauce.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Ray White, daughter Mary Jo Durant and grandson David White.

He was a devoted husband and a father you could consider a best friend, understanding no matter what the situation might be, always willing to listen and be there when you needed a shoulder to cry on. He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, travelling and just relaxing with family, especially his grandchildren. He'll be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Donald Gene White of Sapulpa died Monday, June 17, 2002 at the age of 81.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1920 in Sapulpa to Walter and Sophia Jenks White.
He married Mary Bilyeu Hulnik and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He had been a millwright by trade.
Survivors are his wife, Mary of the home; brother Howard White of Alexandria, Va.; and sister Aleene Greer of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.
Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2002 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Asher officiating.

Troy Wilbert Whitehouse
Troy Wilbert Whitehouse was born Feb. 3, 1916 in Braggs, Okla. and was the youngest son of Stephen Kelly Whitehouse and Martha M. Stockton.
Troy joined the family of brother and sister Ora Hogan (Enlow), Millard Washington, Stephen Ted, Luther Franklin, Bessie May (Connors), Edith Marie (Taylor) and Ruby Lee (Smith).
His Dad carried the mail for the rural area of Braggs, driving a horse and buggy. They were also farmers.
As a young teenager the family moved to Coweta, Okla. Troy and his brothers often walked from Coweta to Sapulpa to visit relatives.
His dad died while living in the Coweta area, and after Troy was grown he and his family moved to the Wyatt School area southwest of Kellyville.
He married Bonnie Lee Canady on July 21, 1938 in Sapulpa; their first child, Martha, died at birth.
Survivors are sons S.K. and his wife Helen, of Sapulpa, Hubert and his wife, Loeva, Wilbert and his wife, Sharon, all of Bristow, Tommy and his wife, Joyce, of Depew; daughters Phyllis Whitehouse, of Bristow, and Saundra Houston and her husband, Richard, of Meridian, Idaho.
Troy retired from Sentinal Manufactoring Company of Tulsa in 1978 where he had worked as a core maker and moulder for over 20 years.
Troy loved his grandchildren: Randy Whitehouse, Lisa Foster, Lori Whitehouse, Gena Greenwood, Trenton Whitehouse, Lane Whitehouse, Julie Lewis, Marty VanOrsdol, Timmy VanOrsdol, David VanOrsdol, Denise Sargent, Dean Smith, Scott Houston, Karen Liles, Mary Loper, Jenny Vazquez, Jason Reterford, Mark Houston, Tonya Whitehouse, Steven Whitehouse and Rachel Criner; great-grandchildren Isaac, Niles, Matt, Kayla, Jerod, Christen, Macy, Whitney, Payten, Dillion, Amanda, Daniel, Tiffany, Tara, Tim, J.R., Wyatt, Aubrey, Crystal, Casey, Rocky, Ryan, Whitney, Steven, Jaden, Jaxie, Kelsey, Madison, Kayandra, Antonio, Hayden, Ryan, Brady, Wesley, Lauren, Zachary and Emily.
Dad loved to go. That was what he liked to do best. He and Mom were always out early and as you were going to work they had already been out somewhere on their way back. They would come by to visit and after 10 or 15 minutes he'd say, "Mammy, we'd better head." Mom preceded him in death on July 31, 1997.
After Mom died life was never the same. His words through tears were "After You" lived with someone 60 years you don't forget them.
He was currently living at the Rainbow Assisted Living in Bristow where Vinita and the other girls took excellent care of him.
He was always sitting by the door waiting for some of the children to come by and pick him up.
He was with Tom at the barber shop when God decided to call him home. There was no other place he'd rather have been.
We miss him and there will be days we will look for him; but his race is complete. God blessed him with 88 years. God bless our lives with a wonderful father and grandfather. We love you Dad.

Mrs. Whiteside was born in Galesburg, Ill. and lived most of her life in Sapulpa. She was a member of First Christian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Whiteside, and a daughter, Carolyn Miller.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy VanWinkle of Sapulpa; two sisters, Velma Chasteen of Sapulpa and Goldie Brandenburg of Arizona; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Clarence Whiteside, 69, of 310 S. Adams, died Monday at St. John's hospital in Tulsa after suffering an apparent heart attack Friday.
Born Sept. 2, 1906, in Cocolocco, Ala., Whiteside came to Sapulpa in 1909 and worked for the Frisco Railroad as a foreman and yardmaster, retiring in 1971.
He was a member of the First Baptist church and the B.R.T.

Hellena "Helen" Whitman, 78, of Tulsa, died July 12, 2005 in Tulsa. She was born Nov. 18, 1926 in Sapulpa.
She was retired from Tulsa Credit Bureau after 33 years.
She and her husband Frank have been together for 56 wonderful years. She is survived by her husband Frank Whitman; son Michael Whitman and wife Lori; daughter Susan Conley and husband Randy; and four grandchildren.

B.H. "Jack" Whittenton
B.H. "Jack" Whittenton of Sapulpa, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at The Gardens. He was 91 years old.
Mr. Whittenton was born Oct. 10, 1910 in Thayer, Mo. He was a retired engineer for the Frisco Railroad and a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was a Baptist and a neon sign maker.

A 63-year-old Tulsa man was pronounced dead-on-arrival at Bartlett Memorial Hospital here Friday night following a one-car mishap on the Rock Creek bridge in the 1000 block of South Main.
Alva F. Whittle, father of a Tulsa policeman, died in the mishap when his auto collided headon with the south end of the concrete bridge railing.
Highway Patrol authorities said it is believed the victim suffered a heart attack before the accident.
The death is the first auto fatility here since May 22, 1965, when a 5-year-old Sapulpa youth was killed when he ran into the path of an auto in the 700 block of West Johnson.
It was the first fatility on the Rock Creek bridge since September 25, 1946, when an area woman was killed in a car-truck accident there.
In an earlier accident Friday, no injuries were reported and one citation issued in a mishap in the 1100 block of East Jackson.
The mishap involved cars driven by Donald W. Bell, 1304 E. Lincoln, and Reeta Peek, Rt. 2, Sapulpa.
The woman driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
Marie Wilson Whittmore
Marie Wilson Whittmore died Friday, April 22, 2005 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa at the age of 52.
She was born March 1, 1953 in Tulsa. She was a homemaker, Baptist and graduate of Sapulpa High School.
She is survived by her sons Stephen Watson and David Whittmore; mother Lois Cope; brother Earl Wilson; grandchildren Blake and Austin Watson, best friend and companion Bill Kocikuski, of the home.

Hazel Marie Wickham
Hazel Marie Wickham was born June 16, 1916 in Sapulpa to Dave and Mae Kiggins. She went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2004 at the age of 87 years.
She was a very religious person who spent a lot of time in prayer.
Survivors are her daughter Betty Kirk and husband Claude, of Tulsa; two grandsons Jimmy Frear and wife Terry, of Sapulpa, and Donnie Seigfried and wife Paula; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren whom she loved very dearly.

Iris June Johnston Widger went to be with the Lord on Sept. 15, 2004. She was born Feb. 27, 1951 in Sapulpa to Johnny J. Johnston and Velma June Bruton who have preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children; daughters Phyllicia and her husband Larry Courtney, of Okmulgee, daughter Veronica Deramus and Ken Schroeder, of Branson Mo.; son Johnathan Wayne Carlock, of Branson, Mo.; sisters LaNelle and her husband Terry Cue, Suzie Capers, of Houston, Texas; brother Kirk Johnston, of Houston; nephew Ben Cue; niece Jenni Cue; great-nephew little Ben; nine beloved grandchildren, Jesse Dean Courtney, Victoria June Deramus, Phillip-Alan Wayne Courtney, Allicia Marie Deramus, Taylor Morgan Carlock Roberts, Devyn JuNelle Courtney, Dalton Wayne Carlock, Nathan Asher Carlock Roberts, and Alec Schroeder.
Iris graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1969. She attended OSU School of Nursing. After nursing school she worked at Bartlett Memorial Emergency Center and City of Faith hospital. She enjoyed helping people and felt she was called by the Lord into the nursing field.
She belonged to the Bibleway Family Worship Center and was a member of the Praise and Worship team. She was a frequent soloist and always accompanied by her nephew Ben and often singing with her daughter Phyllicia. She was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. Praising the Lord and loving her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Zoe F. Wilcox of Sapulpa died Thursday, May 30, 2002 at St. John Medical Center at the age of 70.
Mrs. Wilcox was born March 8, 1932 in Tulsa; she had lived in this area most all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She was a graduate of Sapulpa High School in 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband C.S. Wilcox, her parents Ernest and Corinne Robbins and one brother, Junior Robbins.

WILDCAT -- Andrew, 74, was born in Sapulpa, OK on December 9, 1929, and left this world on November 13, 2004 to join his beloved wife, Nuiko. He is survived by his son and daughter, James and Belinda; grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela, Michael, and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Alex and Morgan; his brother and sisters, Jim, Josephine and Maxine; and his extended Buddhist family in SGI-USA. Staff Sergeant Andrew Wildcat served in the United States Army and retired after 21 years of service to our country. He was a Veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and received the UN Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal (1st OLC), Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation and the Driver & Mechanic Badge. He came back home to Tulsa in 1971 with his family, and after being employed with Byron Jackson Pump Division, he continued working until his retirement there. He was a pioneer member of SGI-USA in Tulsa and supporting his wife, Nuiko, developed Tulsa's membership. "Andy" was a quiet, thoughtful man with a great sense of humor, and loved by all. He was a truly patient listener to those who sought his counsel, and never judged or said a harsh word against his fellow human beings. The Rev. Jake Wildcat
The Rev. Jake Wildcat went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004. He was born in Sapulpa to Nancy Bighead Wildcat and Joseph Wildcat on Jan. 19, 1919. Jake Wildcat was one of the very few full-blood Euchees remaining.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army as a Private, Company C, 50th Signal Battalion from 1942 to 1945. His deployments included service in the Battle of Normandy, Rhineland, Ardennes, Northern France and Central Europe. During his service he was awarded the EAME Service Ribbon, a Silver Service Star, a Bronze Arrowhead and a Good Conduct Medal.
Jake served his country, family and friends in a most respectful and steadfast manner; however his greatest accomplishment was his service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
He was a retired minister and belonged to Pickett Chapel for many years. In 1980, he was baptized by the Rev. Solomon Bullett into the Southern Baptist faith and became a member of Little Cussetah Baptist Church.
He was ordained as a Baptist minister and served as interim pastor in the late 80s. He also served as prayer chairman of Baptist Men and was honored and received a diploma for completing 100 hours of church study courses.
Jake is preceded in death by his first wife, Francis Wildcat, mother Nancy Bighead Wildcat, father Joseph Wildcat and one younger brother, Roman Wildcat.
He is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Marina White Wildcat; daughter Bennie Anita Drywater; step-son Marc Fields; five grandchildren Kim Howard and wife Gina, Kami Fields, Joey Starkey and wife Sam, Greg Fields and Eric "Susie" Starkey Harlan and husband Kevin; 11 great-grandchildren Kevin Botts, Cody Starkey, Michael Howard, Jake Starkey, Elaina Harlan, Hillary Howard, Hayley Howard, Drake Hoe-Kee-Mah Harlan, Mekko Harlan, Alyssa Fields and Faith Fields; seven first cousins Josephine Bigler, Maxine Barnett, Martha Wildcat Squire, Jimmy Wildcat, Andrew Wildcat, Addie George and Ann Roland; and many other second cousins including Irene Parkinson, Dennis Barnett, Sarah Lou Whinery and others.
He was the solid rock of our family - so generous, loving and compassionate.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday Aug. 20, 2004 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Interment will be in the Green Hill Memorial Garden under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Marina White Wildcat
-- Marina White Wildcat went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, from her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Sapulpa to the Rev. Ben White and Nettie Kemells White. Marina Wildcat was full-blood Muscogee Creek.
Marina was baptized at Little Cussetah Indian Baptist Church March 1, 1931 by the Rev. Simon Wilson and has remained a member all of her life. Her service over the years include discipleship training director, involvement in the MRMU and prayer group.
On June 3, 1978 she married the Rev. Jake Wildcat, a great blessing to our family.
She was a homemaker and a most loving mom, grandma and great-grandma; stoic by nature, steadfast in love, she was the glue that held our family together and diligently took each one of us to church. We are forever grateful for that.
Marina was preceded in death by her late husband the Rev. Jake Wildcat, father the Rev. Ben White, mother Nettie Kemells White and baby brother Willie Bell White.

Glenn B. Wiley Jr.
Glenn B. Wiley Jr. passed away early Tuesday morning, Aug. 24, 2004 in his home in Sapulpa. Glenn had been ill with cancer for several months.
He was born March 18, 1938 in Norman to Glenn B. Wiley Sr. and Ruth Foster Wiley. Glenn and his wife Gloria have been residents of Sapulpa since January 1970 when they bought Union-Speer Abstract Co. which they have owned and managed 34 years.
Survivors are his wife of 41 years Gloria Wiley; son Brad Wiley and daughters Anita Wiley-Baker and Robin Chapman; granddaughter Briana Sifuentez Wiley; grandsons Braden M. Baker and Bryson Wiley Baker; Travis Chapman, Nick Chapman and Austin Chapman; sisters June Wiley-Caughron and Beverly Corbett and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2004 in Sapulpa. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Francis Hospice.

MARY ELENORA WILHELM
Mary Elenora Wilhelm, 78, passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2003 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.
Born Aug. 14, 1924, in Topeka, Kan., to George and Georgia Ann Trilck, she lived in the Tulsa/ Sapulpa area most of her life. She graduated from Charles Page High School in 1943, where she was active in journalism and the yearbook.
Mary worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell until she married Curtis in 1945. They had known each other since they were 12 years old.
Mary was a member of Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jenks, where she enjoyed church work, teaching Sunday school and singing in choir.
She was a homemaker, school volunteer and enjoyed collecting antiques, working crossword puzzles, board games and was active in county and state politics. She also enjoyed camping and taking trips, going to Spavinaw, bird watching, flower gardens and talking to her friends on the phone.
Survivors are her husband, Curtis Wilhelm; daughter, Sheila Simmons and husband, Ned, of Sapulpa; son Joe Wilhelm and wife, Patsy, of Grove; grandchildren Paul Haggerty of Pace, Fla.; Chris Haggerty of Tulsa; and Joseph Wilhelm, Jordan Wilhelm and Joshua Wilhelm, all of Grove; great-grandchildren, Dalton Haggerty and Jade Haggerty, both of Pace, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild, John Wilhelm.
Furneral services have been set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jenks with the Rev. Bob Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

John S. Wilkerson went to be with his Lord Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005. He was born in Sapulpa March 31, 1975 to Isaac and Patricia Wilkerson.
He graduated Sapulpa High School in 1993. John attended Faith Baptist Church in Sapulpa and was a master welder and well-loved employee at AXH Air Exchangers in Claremore.

WILLIAMS -- Dr. Cletis, 82, former resident of Sapulpa, OK for 30 years passed away after battling cancer on March 5, 2005, in Amarillo, TX, where he was residing with his cousin, Barbara Helen Cheek. He was born in McIntosh County, OK, to Ezra and Martha Williams on November 19, 1921. Both of his parents preceded him in death. Dr. Williams served as Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He received his Bachelor of Science and Agriculture at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College (now Oklahoma State University) in 1943, his Master of Science from Oklahoma A&M in 1950, and his Doctor of Philosophy from University of Wisconsin in August 1954. He was a perpetual member of Frontier Lodge #48, A.F. & A.M., Stillwater, OK. His work with Honegger Farms of Forest, IL, took him to Japan, Africa and various parts of Europe for the purpose of assisting these countries with the production of poultry in order to provide a source of protein which could be grown quickly and in small areas. Dr. Williams also served as Professor of Agriculture at the University of Georgia and Oklahoma State University. In recent years, Dr. Williams was employed by H&R Block in Sapulpa, OK. Service with military honors will be held Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at the Fairview Funeral Home Chapel in Shawnee, OK, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Schooler Funeral Home, Amarillo, TX. Bill Holley, Assistant Vice President of Oklahoma Baptist University, will officiate. Marge Williams
Marge Williams died Friday, March 21, 2003 at the Gardens at the age of 86.
She was born Sept. 17, 1916 in McAlester and moved to Poteau at a young age. She was a graduate of Poteau High School, attended Coty College, and worked for OG&E.
Mrs. Williams was a Sapulpa resident for 40 years, worked for American Heritage Bank, was a member of the First Christian Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Kiwaniannes, Thakatria, and the St. John Sapulpa Hospital Ladies Auxiliary Pink Ladies.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Arthur and Jesse Patrick Evans and her husband, Ralph Williams.

Tommy Gene Williams
Tommy Gene Williams was born Dec. 22, 1947 and passed from this life Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at the age of 57. He had been a resident of Sapulpa and the surrounding area most of his life.
He was ordained into the ministry on Feb. 9, 2003.
His career in law enforcement had taken him to several small towns in Oklahoma.
His sewing machine repair knowledge had taken him into people's homes where he would strike up a conversation about things that seemed to matter to them. He was always quizzing folks about their names and who they might be related to. At some point in time he would get around to discussing the Bible and telling them what they needed to do to be saved.
When he would get together with school friends, he would always start telling stories about funny things that they had done and their many exploits.
His love and compassion for people was for all ages and knew no bounds.
He loved to work for and care for his animals.
If they were sick, he had a way of doctoring them and they would get better. His doctoring advice would extend to the human race as well.
He had a God given talent to make people laugh. With his sharp wit he could turn the most serious conversation into laughter.
He will be truly missed by a host of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Charlotte Williams, of the home; sister Lucille Hendrix and husband Mike, of Pasadena, Texas; sister Talma Heath and husband Kenneth, of Bixby; brother Guy (Bud) Williams, of Chickasha; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by parents Guy Acey and Mary Ann Williams and sister Dorothy Clark.

Leonard "Len" E. Williamson, Sr. died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005 at the age of 45.
Len was born March 16, 1960 in Tulsa and had lived in the Mounds and Glenpool area for the past 10 years.
Len married Jerri Frazee March 29, 1977 in the Calvary Hills Assembly of God Church. He was employed for Tulsa County as a computer operator. He was a 1978 graduate of Glenpool High School and had a love for old cars.

Helen Wilkerson Wilson
Helen Wilkerson Wilson, daughter of Benjamin and Julia Wilkerson, died Aug. 30, 2004 at the age of 93. Helen was born March 22, 1911 in Copeville, Texas and in 1918 came to Oklahoma in a horse drawn covered wagon. She had lived in Sapulpa and surrounding areas most of her life.
She was a member of the Forest Hills Baptist Church in Sapulpa for many years and a homemaker. Later in life she worked at Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs until she retired.
Several brothers and sisters preceded Ms. Wilson in death.
Survivors include three sisters Gwyneth Surber, of Seagrove, Texas, Bernice Reed, of Jasper, Texas and Clarice Keeton, of Sapulpa. She is also survived by her children Marna Robinson and husband J.E., of Sweeny, Texas, Keitha Logan and husband Bill, of Indiahoma, and Jack Turner and wife Doris, of Kellyville; grandchildren Clifton Ray Carter, Leta Cyr, Gary Turner and Roger Turner; great-grandchildren Brent Kappes, Jacklyn Kappes, Cherri Carter, Shawn Ray Carter, Angela Turner, Travis Turner, Ryan Turner, Blake Turner and Kimberly Turner; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Wilson have been set for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 in the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Lowe officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Clifton Ray Carter, Gary Turner, Roger Turner, Brent Kappes, Travis Turner, Ryan Turner and Randy Keeton.
The family has chosen to entrust the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.

HOWARD L. WILSON
Howard L. Wilson was born to Jimmy and Hannah (Walker) Wilson July 25, 1934 in Sapulpa. He died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 69.
He married the former Miss Elta Brock Goleman Oct. 4, 1985 in Sapulpa. They moved to Tulsa from Sapulpa 19 years ago. He was a barber for 28 years. He owned Howard's Barber Shop and a bait shop. He enjoyed fishing and raising worms. He was a member of South Heights Baptist Church and attended Woodlake Assembly of God until his failing health.
Survivors are his wife, Elta Wilson, of Tulsa; sons, Ricky and wife Carolyn Wilson, of Tulsa, and Randy and wife, Cindy Wilson, of Kiefer; daughter Vicky and husband, Steve Bradley, of Sapulpa; stepsons, Bobby and wife, Rebecca Goleman, of Tulsa, Ricky and wife, July Goleman, of Sand Springs; Micky and wife, Lou Ann Goleman, of Broken Arrow; Russell and wife, Angela Goleman, of Sperry; grandchildren, Veda Ann, Jimmy, Howard, Katie, Ashley, Crystal, Kyle, Ryan, Bobby, Angela, Kyle, Katie, Kayla, Aaron, Erica, Brock, Drake, Joshua, Derek and Amy; brother, Jack Wilson; sisters, Helen Ezzell, Viola Bentoncourt and Anna Malone.
He was preceded in death by one son, Howard E. Wilson and sister, Dorothy Goad.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Ron Siex will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.

Wilson, Joseph Niece, 76, died Sunday, April 20, 2003. Born June 26, 1926 in Tulsa to parents Joseph M. and Mary Elizabeth Niece Wilson.
Joe was a member of the following Masonic bodies: Delta Lodge No. 425, The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, The Ancient Order of Camel Herders, Saba, Tulsa Chapter York Rite Bodies, Magic City Chapter No. 462, and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. He was also a member in the Moose Legion No. 147 and the Moose Lodge No. 862.
Joe served his country during W.W. II with the Battery A 4th Field Artillery Battalion and in the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9969 and the Military Order of the Cootie.
Joe enjoyed square dancing, bowling and golfing. He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph W. Wilson.
Survivors include, daughter, Connie Wilson and son, Richard Wilson, both of Tulsa; cousin, Charles Brown and long time friend, Ann Walker.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel.

Marvin Wilson was born March 14, 1906. He died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004.
Marvin out lived his parents and eight siblings.

Pauline Wilson, 79, of Kellyville, was born Jan. 23, 1925 in Chandler. She died Monday, March 8, 2004.
She was the daughter of Frank and Dovie Turner, of Kellyville. She was married to Ray Wilson in 1957. They moved to the Dallas area and spent several years there. They moved back to Kellyville in 1978. They owned a furniture store until Ray died in 1992. She has lived in the same location since 1978.
She leaves behind a brother Jack Turner; sister-in-law Sue Turner, of Kansas City, Mo.; brother-in-law Harold Adams, of Kellyville; sisters-in-law Debbie Turner and Bobbie Wurtz, of Sapulpa, step son Randy Wilson of Savanna, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Emma Faye (Moore) Winesburg, 101, of Sapulpa, died Monday, June 16, 2003 at The Gardens.
Mrs. Winesburg was born Jan. 14, 1902, in Oklahoma, Indian Territory. She was raised in Sedan, Kan. and moved to Sapulpa in 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
Survivors include her daughter, June Oakes, and her husband Charles, of Bixby; grandchildren, William Harold Oakes, Catherine Nell Adams and Charles Gratton Oakes; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He is survived by: his cherished wife of 59 years, Roline of Tulsa; daughter and son-in-law, Renea and David Hudson of Tulsa; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Al Loft of Sacramento, CA; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Carol Wise of Denver, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Mike Hawkins of Tulsa, OK; sister, Betty Irvin and husband, Ben, of Tulsa; brother J.C. Wise of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-law, Floyd Casey of Tulsa, OK. In addition to his wife and 4 children, Roy is survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Roy retired from 4 States Motor Parts in 1983 and enjoyed camping and fishing. For 13 years he and Roline were volunteer campground hosts for the U.S. Forest Service in Colorado. Following the war he settled in Tulsa, raised a family and retired after a 30+ year career with American Airlines. Norman was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
