Goldie Mae (Hull) Yarger
Goldie Mae (Hull) Yarger, 87, was born June 6, 1915 and died May 23, 2003 after a long illness at Northside Nursing Home in Sapulpa.
She was born in Johnson County, Ark. to John Hull and Walsie Bell (Bowman) Hull. She was a retired salesperson for J.J. Newberry's and TG&Y.
She came to Sapulpa in 1927 and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1934.
She married Russell Yarger on June 8, 1935.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell (Lundy) Yarger, son Russell Don Yarger and brothers Nick, Dolph and Press Hull.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sonya Sue and Paul Hanks, of Prescott Valley, AZ., son and daughter-in-law Press and Judy Yarger, of Sapulpa, daughter-in-law Pat Yarger, of Vinita; five grandchildren, Jami Sue and husband John Goulden, of Bethany, Melissa and husband David Cox, of Denton, Texas, Tonya Hanks, of Ft. Meyers, Fla., Randy Yarger, of Tulsa, and Doug Hanks, of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren, John Pressley, Laura and Katy Goulden, of Bethany, and Kegan Cox, of Denton, Texas.
She was a wonderful mom and grandmother and loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Kiefer Christian Church with interment to follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa.

Judith Yarger
Judith Yarger, of Sapulpa, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005 at St. John Medical Center at the age of 58. Judith was born June 9, 1946 in Phillipsburg, Kan. in the home of Dr. Mary to Faye Leota (Gaines) Stroup and George Amos Stroup.
She was a graduate of Kirn, Kan. High School in 1964. On March 26, 1966, she was married to Presley Yarger.
Judith was a member of the Sapulpa First Church Of The Nazarene, a homemaker and director of the Sapulpa First Church Of The Nazarene Joy Group. She loved being grandma to her grandchildren. She was a very passionate, enthusiastic and loving mother and wife.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nellie Campbell and Beulah Jones.
Survivors are her husband Presley, of the home in Sapulpa; daughter Jami Sue Goulden and son-in-law John D. Goulden, of Oklahoma City; grandchildren John Presley Goulden, Laura Elizabeth Goulden and Katherine Ann Goulden, all of Oklahoma City. Siblings to Judith are George Edward Stroup, of Beloit, Kan., Virgil Stroup, of Calvert City, Ky., Donald Stroup, of Sand Springs, Melford Stroup, of Vancouver, Wash., Jean Kincaid, of Stockton, Kan., Joy Wolfe, of Hastings, Neb., and Karen Evans, of Oklahoma City; also numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral services for Judith have been set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 in the Sapulpa First Church Of The Nazarene with Kevin Bell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Serving as honorary casket bearers will be Charles Styers, Leo Smith, Harry Crum and Al Glese. Active casket bearers will be George Jones, Robert Hemphill, Dewey Moore, Vern Street, David Stroup and Randy Yarger.

Robert H. Yarger, 88, of Conway, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003.
Born Jan. 14, 1915 in Montpelier, Ind., he was the son of the late Charles S. and Amanda Mitchell Yarger. He is also (???) preceded in death by a son, David Yarger.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Nichols Yarger, of Conway; son, Charles Yarger and wife, Cathy, of Edmond; daughter, Carolyn Bruce and husband, James of Conway; daughter, Shiela Weaver and husband, Tommy, of Weston, Mo.; sister, Myrtle Yarger, of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Tom Weaver, Bobby Weaver, Deborah Turner, Robert Yarger, Lisa Lawrence and Steven Yarger and seven great-grandchildren.

Phyllis Jean Davis Yates, born on September 17, 1934 in Kenwood, died on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at St. John Hospital at the age of 70.
She was the daughter of James Virgil and Myrtie Leona Davis. She is preceded in death by husband Hollis Yates; parents James and Myrtle Davis; brothers Virgil Davis and David Davis.
She is survived by sons James Yates, David Yates, Glen Yates and wife Linda, all of Sapulpa; daughters Carla Abrams and husband Clark, of Kiefer, Glenda Stevens, of Tulsa; sister Charlene Edgmon, of Jasper, Ark.; grandchildren Carey Bolin, Hollis Yates, Amber Rockey, Katie Abrams and Daniel Abrams; and many other family members and a host of friends.
She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.

Eula Mae Yocham
Eula Mae Yocham, 84, was called to heaven on April 30, 2002.
She was born on May 7, 1917 in Sand Springs to the Rev. Delbert (Elbert) and Martha Hellard.
She was raised and educated around the Sapulpa area. Her father built and pastored Blue Bell Freewill Baptist Church. She was saved and baptized at age 12.
On Oct. 7, 1933 she married Strauther "Stubb" Yocham. Together they farmed and attended Blue Bell Freewill Baptist church where they often preached.
They were blessed with one son, Gary Phil Yocham on June 17, 1948.
In 1960 Eula and "Stubb" began pastoring Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Sand Springs and in 1965 began pastoring the First Freewill Baptist Church in Sapulpa till 1969 when her husband became ill.
Following his passing in 1972 Eula worked for Freewill Baptist Church in Moore and then Freewill Baptist College in Fresno, Calif.
Upon her return to Oklahoma Eula moved to Stillwater and opened a home care service for the elderly.
She retired in 1989 and moved to Oklahoma City where she lived till her death.
She was a blessing in our lives and a deeply devoted Christian woman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Delbert (Elbert) and Martha Hellard, husband, the Rev. Stubb Yocham, brothers Chester, Elmer, Gean, Troy, and Ercel, sisters Lucille Hellard and Ruby Wilkerson-Tanner.
She leaves behind one brother Everett Hellard of Texas, son and daughter-in-law Phil and Susan Yocham of Coweta, five granddaughters, Teresa Brunner, Karrie Newell of Sapulpa, Shanna Walker, Heather Yocham of McPhearson, Kan., Laci William of Coweta and numerous nieces and nephews, loving friends and church family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Yocham have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2002 in the Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Homer Young and the Rev. Dave Sutton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

DOROTHY ODESSA YOUNG
Mrs. Dorothy Odessa Young, 83, a Sapulpa resident all her life, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, in her home at Northside Nursing Home with her family and several friends at her side.
Mrs. Young was born June 24, 1920 to Jim and Rosie McGuire, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of God on Frankoma Road.
For many years, Mrs. Young worked as a Meat Wrapper for the Jitney Jungle Food Stores and the Safeway Grocery Stores. She and her husband, Orie W. Young, owned Gasoline Service Stations in the Sapulpa area dating back to the 1930's. They owned and operated the Gibble Gas Station and Orie's Barber Shop on Walnut and Dewey since 1955.
Her husband, Orie William Young, a mininster with the Evening Light Church of God, precedes Mrs. Young in death. They were married for 56 years. Also preceding her in death is her son, Charles Daniel Young, a Sergeant with the Sapulpa Police Department, and Mrs. Young's sisters, Mattie Nation, Hattie Webster, Bessie Daniels, Pearl Busbe, and Nettie Lightfoot, and her brothers, Roy McGuire and Hubert McGuire.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Rebecca Young, her grandson, Craig Young and his wife, Rae Ann, her grandchildren, Coleman and Addison, all of Sapulpa; her nieces, Verdina (Dee) Ashley and her husband, Willie, Dorothy Fern Nichols and her husband, Paul, Laverna Rose Boyles, all of Sapulpa, and Rae L. Workman and her husband T.W. of Stilwell, Jan Frichot, Shawnee, and brother-in-law, Vernon Young and his wife, Joyce, of Flint Ridge, Ark.
There are many more nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and family members.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at The Church of God on Frankhoma Road, Sapulpa. Officiating will be Rev. James Bell and Rev. Paul Nichols, Sr.

Lisa Ann Young
Lisa Ann Young died on Sunday, June 9, 2002 in her home in Kellyville at the age of 31.
Lisa left this earth to go to heaven after a year-long battle with cancer.
She was a wonderful wife and mother to her husband Bryan for 12 years and to her daughters Nicole and Nancy.
She also leaves behind many people who loved her and will miss her deeply.
Mrs. Young was a 1989 graduate of Sapulpa High School and had been working for Braum's in Prattville for the last seven years.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2002 at First Baptist Church of Kellyville with the Rev. Doug Miller officiating.

Ralph Young
Ralph Young, 93, of Kellyville, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2002 at St. John Sapulpa. He was born Oct. 16, 1908 near Marshfield, Mo. to Bert Albert Young and Mary Elizabeth Flowers.
Ralph married Lucy Lucille Young Sept. 6, 1937 in Sapulpa. He was a carpenter and mason for Roop and G.W. Gentry Construction Co. of Sand Springs. He also worked as an electrician for McDonnel Douglas.
After retiring from a full time job, he enjoyed tending a herd of cattle well into his 80's. He was a member of the Kellyville United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his two daughters, Doris Hill of Parnell, Iowa and Barbara Morris of Kellyville; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Ray and Della Lowder of Kellyville; one brother, Roy Young of Northview, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Ralph have been set for 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002 at the Sunrise Cemetery with Dr. Nolan Thomas and the Rev. George Chambers officiating.
Interment will follow under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Kellyville United Methodist Church, Kellyville Christian Church or a charity of your choice.

SPENCER BLAKE YOUNGBLOOD
Spencer Blake Youngblood, 4, of Sapulpa, went to be with his Jesus on Monday, Feb. 18, 2002. Spencer was born on Aug. 22, 1997, in Tulsa.
He brought much joy and comedy to many lives. Everyone who knew him couldn't help but love him with his cute little cow-lick right up the front of his head.
Spencer enjoyed going to church, going to the park or pretty much anywhere with his dad, going shopping with his mom, going with his step-dad to work and to the drive-thru at American Heritage Bank to get as many suckers as they would give him, playing Nintendo with his brothers, playing Barbies with his step-sisters, staying all night with his grandparents for what he called "Hayne and Dia's weekend," even if it was just a night in the middle of the week, waiting to see what his Grandma Beverly would bring him when she came to town -- he preferred the candy over the clothes, of course -- playing with his two dogs, Silky and Dolly, dressing up in his wide array of costumes - a frog, ninja, Batman, Woody from Toy Story, Spiderman, Zorro, and one of his favorites, a "towboy" with his "wope" and "duns" - a cowboy with his rope and guns.
Spencer attended Pre-Kindergarten at Liberty Elementary School. His teacher was Mrs. Robin Long, and boy did he like Miss Robin. He also have fun playing "dames" (games) with his speech teacher, Ms. Smith.
Spencer also attended Our Friends Day Care in the afternoons and was a first-year wrestler for the Sapulpa Elementary Novice Wrestling team.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Julie and Bryan McAlister, of the home; and his father, Danny Youngblood of Sapulpa.
Spencer also leaves behind two older brothers, Dillon and Lane Youngblood, as well as two step-sisters, Ali and Cassidy McAlister.
Spencer's great number of grandparents who loved him very much include Pat and Diana Hayne of Jenks, Jerry and Carolyn McKelvey of Glenpool, Sam and Beverly Woodard of Stafford, Mo.; Glenn and Vickie Youngblood of Kansas City, Mo., Portra McAlister of Morris and Ted and Rhonda McAlister of Sapulpa.
The great-grandparents who Spencer was able to know include Lawrence and Dorothy Smith of Glenpool, Virginia Davis of Henryetta, the late Glenn and Thelma Youngblood of Sapulpa and the late Mildred Langston of Sapulpa.
Spencer had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends about whom he was absolutely crazy.
Funeral services will be held at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Glenpool on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, at 11 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Jeff McAlister, Terry Sivadon, Darrell DeMoss and Brad Stansbury.

YOUNT -- Maurine H., died September 16, 2003. She was born in Looxahoma, MS, November 28, 1917, to Nathan N. and Gladys H. House, the third of five children. She was a graduate of Harding College, where she met her husband-to-be, Billy G. Yount. They were married June 5, 1941. After living in Sapulpa, OK, Torrance, CA, LaGrange, IL, Louisville, KY, Salinas, CA and Jackson, MS she and her husband settled in Tulsa in 1951 where they lived the rest of their lives. She was predeceased by her husband, Billy ;her sisters, Mary Isom Scago and Lois Williams, both of Senatobia, MS; and her brother, H. Henderson House of Looxahoma, MS. She is survived by her son, B. Gerald Yount, and her daughter-in-law, Suzanne P. Yount, and her granddaughter, E. Towsey Yount of Richmond, VA; her son, John G. Yount, and her grandson, J. Barton Yount of Tulsa; her son, Thomas Yount; and her son, Charles E. Yount of Boulder, CO. She is also survived by her sister, Mildred Cannon, of Huntsville, AL. They will miss her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the University of Tulsa General Scholarship Fund. Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, at First Christian Church, Memorial Chapel, 913 S. Boulder.
