BRISTOW -- Jeanette Abraham Nohra, 95, formerly of Bristow, died Jan. 3. Memorial Mass noon Sunday, Madalene Catholic Church, Tulsa.

NOHRA -- Jeanette Abraham, 95, of Beirut, Lebanon, passed away January 3, 2005. Born in Beirut, she spent "the best time of her life," her teenage years, in Bristow, OK. Jeanette was a kind person who always saw the best in others. Her favorite gifts were romance novels, which helped her maintain her English over the years. She is survived by: three siblings, Louise Saab, Leatrice Jabbour and Don Abraham of Tulsa; and seven children residing in Beirut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Twefiq, and sister, Agnes Saab. St. Ephrem Maronite Mission (740-5463) will conduct a Memorial Mass, 12-Noon Sunday, at Madalene Catholic Church.

Robert Eugene Norman Sr., 40, died Friday, March 5, 2004 in Eucha. He was born June 1, 1963 in Tulsa. He was a machanic and metal fabricator.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Lee Norman and brothers Billy and Danny Norman.

Survivors are his wife Pam Norman, of the home; daughters Mindy Green, of Tulsa, Misty Norman, of Vinita, and Stephanie Norman, of the home; son Robert Norman Jr., of the home; brothers James Norman, of Toledo, Ore., Bart Norman, of Sapulpa, and Joe Norman, of Largo, Fla.; sister Shelly Norman, of Tahlequah, and grandson Dustin Lee Foss Norman, of the home.

A memorial service is set for 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home at the Westwood Chapel in Tulsa. A graveside service is set for 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Davenport Cemetery in Davenport.

Services are under the direction of Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation for Sherman Norton will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Tuesday evening, January 27, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Sherman was born June 26, 1939, in Depew, Oklahoma, and he passed away on January 22, 2004, in Parker, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his sons, Ricky and Jeffrey Norton and he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lil Norton; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Jim Autrey; three granddaughters, Rachelle Wood, Renee Autrey and Shannon Wilson; two great-grandsons, Chance and Tristin Wilson; two sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sherman was retired from Arco Oil and Gas Company. He was very creative, mechanical and meticulous and he had a knack for fixing almost anything.
