W. C. "WILLIAM" WICKHAM

W.C. William Wickham passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005 at his home in Sapulpa. He was 65 years of age.

William was born in Sapulpa on Aug. 14, 1930 to John Martin Wickham and Lena Cline-Wickham. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. William worked as a Boiler Maker for Ken Tube and Flint Steel till his retirement.

William is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Christine Juanita Self Wickham.

He is survived by his son William Wickham Jr.; his stepchildren Ronnie Wilson, Joanne Corman and Bobby Muskrat; his siblings, Hiram Steven Wickham and Betty, of Sapulpa, Johnny Joseph Wickham and Louise, of Ketchum, and Louis Jerome Wickham and Beverly, of Norman, Emily Mary Ortego of the home, Vernon Eugene Wickham and Ruth, of Sapulpa, and Vivian Elizabeth Sands, of Mounds; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. The Reverend David Miller will officiate. Casket bearers will include his nephews, Phillip Wickham, Raymond Marvin, Dean Ray Hughes, Eric Wickham, Paul Wickham and Bruce Glantz.

The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.

(Note: The date of Mr. Wickham's birth and his given age at death do not add up. His age at death is reported as 75 years of age in the death notice. This is more likely.)
